Chapter 48: Date Night Part 2- Happy anniversary

Hiiiiii everyone! Sorry it's been awhile I know. But I'm back!!!!! And I have news to share!!!! Today is my story's anniversary! It has been exactly one year since I first made this story! I just wanna say thank you guys so much for reading and loving my story! It means soooo much to me that you guys love it! I was gonna stop because there's a lot going on but you guys make me feel so much better when I get to talk to u guys , and all the compliments I get from my story! And I'm going to keep writing more chapters and continue this story for you guys. I won't tell u guys everything but just so you guys know, imma tell you something that will make you guys jump to the edge of your seats..... hehehehe😈😈
Something bad is going to happen to our little Mel Mel, someone from the Sins is gonna die and someone comings back........

Y/n's point of view

Meliodas and I just walked around to see what different type of things were going on. We were both scanning around in a comfortable silence. It was nice. I then gasp when I felt a sudden touch on my hand. I looked down and seen meliodas holding my hand. I blushed horribly and looked up at him to see him looking straight ahead. Not even a seconds later, he glares at me from the corner of his amazing green eyes, then smiles at me. That sweet innocent smile that could capture any girls heart. Including mine. Oh my god.... I think I just died from his cuteness.............

Meliodas's point of view

I smiled at y/n, which caused her to turn into a tomato. Literally. Her eyes widened, and she turned her head quickly facing forward. I just chuckled. It was so cute how innocent she would act. And that's what I loved most about her. I was suddenly dragged from my thoughts when I heard y/n squeak real loud. I turned my attention to her and seen her pointing to something. I followed to what she was pointing to. I was about to say what it was but she beat me to it..
"ICE CREAAAAAAMMMM!!!!!!" She immediately started running towards it, grabbing me from my arm and dragging me with her at the same time. When we got there, a woman was behind the little table counter. She looked at me and y/n and smiled widely. "Why don't you two look cute together.."  y/n blushed, and I had a cheesy grin on my face. "What can I get ya?" "Ahhh......" I didn't know what flavor to get. Never really had ice cream in a long time. "Oooooo!!!!!!! Can we please get chocolate ice cream!?!? That's my favorite flavor!!!!!!!!!"  Y/n said with the biggest smile. "You gotcha!" The woman said. She made our cones in a matter of seconds and handed it to us. I gave the woman the money, we said our thank you's and started to walk to a bench to eat. Y/n started to eat her ice cream. But I didn't. I just started at mine. I remember the last time I had chocolate ice cream. It was when y/n was little and she had her little birthday party. "You remember?" Y/n said in a soft general whisper. I quickly turned my head towards her to find her looking at her ice cream to. But she had a big smile on her face.
" years ago.... when I turned...I don't know... uh.. eight? .... I had a birthday party. It was at the palace. King Arthur's palace. And.... King Arthur, my mom, me, ban, hawk, and the rest of the sins where there. You were running late. Like usually...".
I smiled and let out a small chuckle.
"It was just us. I didn't have many friends, so it was a small party. But I loved it. We played games, opened gifts, sung, danced..... it was all so beautiful and amazing."
As y/n was still looking at her ice cream as she was retelling me the memory, I looked straight into her eyes. I could see happiness but pain to. Because from that tear falling down her cheek right now, I can already tell, how much she misses those days. Including her mom. "I remember ban made me a big cake. We all gathered around and you guys were singing me happy birthday as I was about to blow my candles out. My mom hugging me from behind telling me to make a wish." Y/n started to laugh at the thought of her memory as she started wiping away her tears. "Haha.....and um.....before we could even eat, you shoved my face into the cake......." she said as she looked at me giggling. I started to laugh a little. I remembered........all of it.
Y/n was about to continue the memory but I decided to do it for her. " and then   Everyone started to laugh, and we had a big cake fight. Cake was everywhere. The fight was so intense, the sins was left with a couple of bruises." I looked up at the sky and smiled. " so because I messed up your birthday cake, I brought you out to the village....... to get some....." I turned my head to look at her. We bother smiled at each other and said at the same time, "chocolate ice cream....." I just started into her eyes. Her beautiful eyes. I stopped looking at her when I felt something dripping down my hand. I heard y/n giggle as I started to look down at my hand. Little did I know, my ice cream started to melt. I started licking that sucker up like crazy! Y/n was just eating her ice cream, watching me struggle and was laughing at me too. The whole time we've been down here, I haven't seen her smile go down once. And I plan to keep it that way.

Y/n's point of view

Me and meliodas started to walk to the center opening of the village where there seemed to be a little celebration going on. Lots of people were around. Men, women, and many children. Everybody was just talking enjoying them selves. Me and meliodas just stopped and just looked around at everyone. Music started to play. It was a kind of beat that would make everyone move their feet. But no one was dancing. But Im gonna change that.
I started walking to the open area and left meliodas. I could hear him call me from behind, "y/n!? Where are you going?" I ignored him. I just started to dance on my own. Everyone made room for me and just watched. Everyone started to smile then they started to clap their hands to the beat. I ran into the crowd, and grabbed a child to come and dance with me. It was a little girl. She was hopping around and giggling as she was dancing. Then I grabbed a couple from the crowd and they started dancing to.  A little after that, more and more people started to dance. Everyone had a dance partner to dance with. And everyone was laughing and having fun. I'm happy to see everyone smiling, with nothing to worry about.
I was suddenly pulled from my thoughts when I felt someone pull me into a dance. After a twirl or two, I recognized the face.  "Meliodas? You dance?" I said smiling with a questionable look too. "Yea! What? A sin can't dance?" I shook my head and giggled. "No it's not that. It's just you surprise me is all. You don't look like the dancing type." I said as we danced to the music. He chuckles as he spins me around then dips me. He leaned in so close, that out noses touched. He looked me straight into the eyes with a smile. "Then I guess I'm full surprises my lady......."  he said softly as his smile turned into a cheesy grin. I smiled and rolled my eyes as he lifted me back up and continued to dance the night away. This was one of the greatest nights of my life. I enjoyed myself very much! Until shorty after, he looked under my dress........... what a perv.......
well he was right about one thing, he definitely is full of surprises.
