Chapter 20: found you

Y/n point of view

"Hello y/n.........time to come home."
He said softly....
That one person I never wanted to see again
That one person I didn't think I would have to face again...

My father.... The demon king.
Stood in front of me with his childish smile drawn on his face. He only smiles when he knows he's won. And sadly... He was right....
He's won......

I'm good as dead.........but......No!!!! I.... I can't think like that! I need to believe! I need to trust in Meliodas! Just trust that he's on his way! Just please Meliodas.....come save me....

But I was knocked out of my thoughts when I seen my father step closer to me one step at a time. "Let go back home princess..." And With out thinking, I crawled off the bed and ran straight towards the door as hawk was by my side the whole time. I hesitated as I was about to turn the knob and I looked back at Diane. She mouthed to me saying "go". And without a second thought, I opened the door and ran down the hall way with hawk. All I know now was that I was running for my life as I left Diane and Gowther with my father and a demon slayer alone. But I couldn't do anything about it and that's what made me feel even worse about leaving them. But all I could do now was run.

Meliodas point of view

I couldn't say anything. I could move. I had no emotion written on my face. But it didn't mean I wasn't feeling any.

I felt stupid.
I felt weak.
I felt helpless.

I was a fool! I didn't see it coming! And I left her! But I can give up! I won't! Not again! Not after the promise I made.....

(Beginning of flash back)

"Hey Mel-Mel!?!? Can u promise me something?" Meliodas then nodded and Responded. "Anything.... What is it?" " promise me that u will never leave me!!!! Promise you'll protect me! Promise to love me forever!......and promise me that when I get old enough........ That I'll get to be that one and only girl u love!!!! Kk Big brother? PROMISE!?"
"Oh y/n......... I promise....... I promise you that I'll protect you and never leave your side..... I promise you that I'll always love u............. And I Promise that when your old enough.........you'll be mine and only mine. You belong to me and no one else......you always did..."

(Ending of the flash back)

This time I'm keeping my promise! Im not breaking another promise! I'm not giving up! I then turned around facing the sins and spoke.
" let's go! Everyone out! We have no time! Ban, carry Elizabeth. Everyone head back to the castle! Now!"
Everyone nodded but no one moved just yet. King Arthur then stood up and walked towards me.
"And what about you!? What are you going to do? How are you going to make it back in time?"
I looked at King Arthur straight into the eye. I signed then I smiled.
" im just going to have to take the easy way out..."
I then smiled and faced the rest of the sins. A voice then appeared in my head.
"Meliodas............ Go and save her....."
My eye turn gold-ish yellow and a light surrounded me. I then Faced my head down as my long blond bangs covered my eyes. I then hear Elizabeth as she began to speak.
"GO SIR MELIODAS! GO SAVE HER! GO AND-"
before Elizabeth could finish her sentence, the voice in my head said it with her at the same time.
"SAVE Y/N!!!"
And with that, I was in the sky on my way to King Arthur's castle.

Diane point of view

I mouthed y/n to go. My first priority was to keep her safe. Captains orders.. But it wasn't just that.....She was like a sister to me, and I want to keep her safe. I then spot the conversation the demon king and the demon slayer is having. The demon slayer was about to follow and go after y/n and hawk until the demon king stopped him. This surprised me.

The demon slayer looked confused for a sec and looked at the king. The demon kings head was facing the door with a smirk this whole time. He then spoke in his deep, low voice.
"No........ I'll go and get her-" and with that, me and Gowther charged towards the demon king with our powers and full strength as I interrupted him.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!!!"

And in what seemed like one second, the demon king vanished and the demon slayer flashed through in between us. We then immediately fell to the ground with our bodies paralyzed. I moved my head to see the demon king gone and the demon slayer standing behind us laughing.
"Haha! That should keep you two busy for a few as the king gets what he came here for...."
He finished off his sentence as he continued to chuckle.
I groaned at the fact that I couldn't move an inch and on what he said.
"You'll never get away with this!"
This caused him to chuckle even more and caused him to walk over to me and squatted down to my face as he lets out his last fact of the day.
"Hahaha....... Oh sweet heart....... We already have."
And with that everything went black.

Y/n point of view

I kept running.

And running.

And running.

And running.

Until I couldn't breathe. And until that time came, I kept running.
But sadly after a while I couldn't breathe. I slowed down and I then stopped running. Hawk then fell to his side from being energized out from the running, and this caused me to chuckle a little as my hands were on my knees as I tried to control my breathing. I then soon stood up straight and looked around at my surroundings to figure out where I was. I was on the highest floor of the castle. I was on the roof. All I seen was stars and the big bold moon. I then was distracted from all the screaming and from the smell of smoke. I slowly walked towards the edge of the Clift  and looked at all the horror from below.

Homes being burned down.

People getting killed.

People being turned into demons.

People being captured.

And the worst of all..........
Demons everywhere.

And hundreds of them...

I then was cut from my thoughts by hawk speaking.
"OH NO!!! This is bad! Ur father is here and he's after you! The village is being attacked, and Meliodas and the sins aren't here!!!!
All I did was sign. Hawk was right.
"Yeah I know! It's bad but hey! At least we lost him!"
Then next thing I knew was hearing laughter behind me. I quickly turned to see me inches away from my father.

"Found you..."

I had to run!
I had to get away!
But before I could make one movement, my father punch me extremely hard in the stomach which caused me to fall in his arms and immediately black out.
