fake love

I woke up to lights shining in my face

Soon enough I realized I was in a hospital. Sitting up slightly my leg started to have this really sharp sting.

I tried to piece together what had happened i had this weird dream but soon enough I realized it wasn't a dream.

Stephanie really did shoot me

But why?!? She said she stole money but why?? She's already rich she doesn't need any more money and I guess the distraction she was talking about was me, but I didn't think it would be this serious.

I thought she loved me

Why would she do this to me.

I began to cry but then doctors and detectives came in, the doctors checked some things and explained why the detectives were here

The detective began to speak

"Ms.Rose do you know who your attacker was?"

As much as I hate Stephanie right now something inside me wasn't letting me rat her out.

"I can't remember" I said, he nodded and began to write in his notepad

"Do you know anyone who would do this to you and how you got to the hotel?" He asked

"No sir, sorry I just- I can't remember anything"

He nodded again and walked out the door.

I started to cry, how could she do this to me?! was it really that Important to her!?, was all of this just fake love? Was this her plan all along? Was she plotting to do this since she drafted me?

But if she did plan this why didn't she kill me, she shot me in the leg not the heart but shooting and betraying my trust was enough to kill me on the inside.
