(Back to the party)
She smirks and says, "Good."
"But if you want me to kill someone, I can't do that sorry." I laugh nervously. She doesn't laugh and my joke bombs. Yikes.
"I need you to lie and it's gonna be a big one." She explains. "Okay but why?" I ask. "Because this person betrayed me and I need to get her back."
"Who? And what did she do?" I press for answers.
She sighs and sits down in a desk chair. "It's a long story."
