Pretty little Birdy

Pretty little birdy,

Singing so soundly,

Sitting in a tree.

Will you come down for me,

From on your perch,

Where you sing in glee?

Pretty little birdy,

You make me sad.

But you don't see.

You don't hear,

Their disgusting voices,

You are truly free.

Pretty little birdy,

Please keep singing,

Ever so serene.

Your singing distracts,

The grotesque voices,

The things they do obscene.

So why little bird,

Did you stop singing,

Ever so sweetly.

Your singing left,

A hole in my heart,

Oh so bloody.

Sweet little birdy,

You can't see,

You are so lucky.

If you could,

If you ever lived,

You would see.

Mute little birdy,

Dead in the tree,

The world so hazy,

Surrounding me.

Don't let go,

Your song will stop,

The torments heard,

My retreat destroyed.

Please little Birdy,

I need your help,

To stop their cries,

That sound like my own.

Helloooooo!!! Yaya!! Finally I wrote a long rhyming poem!! I am so excited!! XD

If you didn't catch the story (you probably didn't with my writing...) it was about a girl who is bullied, and used the birds song to block out the bullies harsh words. Then when the bird dies, she doesn't know what to do and doesn't realise that she is still being bullied anymore because she plays the song over in her head.

If that's not how you interpreted it that's fine! That's just what I was trying to get across... I also know that some words didn't properly rhyme and I'm sorry. I don't know why that last three paragraphs are 4 lines long and not 3, but i don't care!!!!!! :P

Thank you for reading!!
