"What is three plus five?" I asked Ma'Laya as we walked down the street holding hands
"Um eight!" She smiled skipping
"Very good, what about ten plus ten."
"Twenty!"
She was so ecstatic when she knew for sure when she was getting an answer correct.
"Yay, you're so smart baby, what about nine plus ten?"
"Um, twenty one?" She replied in a questioning tone
"Twenty one?!" I questioned in a playful voice picking her up and spinning her around
"It's nineteen, it's nineteen mommy." She giggled
"You sure?"
"Yesh, yesh."
"Okay then." I smiled putting her down "tie your shoe yaya."
She then got onto her right knee attempting to tie her left shoe. It was kind of cute watching her struggle, because when she gave up she would fold her arms and pout.
"I can't do it." She huffed
I leaned over getting closer to her "remember the two bunny ears baby, do that." I instructed her
She did as I said and I lead her through the way of tying her shoes "and the last step is tie em in a knot." She smiled as she finished
"Muy bien mi amor." I said kissing her forehead
Just then I was almost knocked over by someone's torso bumping onto my ass. They placed their hands onto my waist pulling me close. I could obviously tell now that it was the hands of a man.
"Oh shit, muh fault ma I wasn't payin attention." He spoke
I grabbed yaya's hand as she got up and turned around facing him. He was a tall skinny lightskin man with a few tattoos on his neck , one of them was the letter A but I'm not sure why, maybe it stands for Atlanta.
He had wonderful cheek bones, and a goatee . But all that would soon go away if he keeps touching me.
