Flashback:
"Harmony!" Keep swimming, don't stop until you reach the shore!"
"Mom! I cried. "I can't leave you!"
I watched in horror as Dominic's men surrounded my mother. They held a knife to my moms throat and sneered at me.
"Come and try to save your precious mom you little mermaid brat."
I blinked away tears and looked at my mom.
She mouthed"I love you. For me go save yourself." Then she placed a hand on her heart
"Don't forget me. Keep me in your heart always."
I sobbed and nodded
"I won't I promise. I love you."
With a flip of my tail I rushed to shore. The last thing I heard was my mother's screams echoing against the water.
I didn't look back, I couldn't. "I'm so sorry." I whispered. I will avenge you mother. I promise." I reached shore and passed out. The last thing I saw was people running towards me and everything turned dark.
