"Watch out!" Jason yelled. Huh? A volleyball came flying at my head and fell onto the sand with a thud. I yelped in surprise and laughed. "Hey Jason eyes on the net not on me!" "Haha" he grumbled "Sorry." "You're going to be sorry when you get your butt kicked. I teased. "Is that a challenge?" He asked
"I believe so" I smiled. I grabbed the ball and jogged over to the court. Finally something that I can do I thought. An hour later I headed to the snow cone stand with my friends totally exhausted from our intense game of volleyball. I ordered a raspberry snow cone and waited for Jason, Aaron, Jade, and Fawn. We five have known each other for a long time, since I moved here to Long Beach, California. Jade took a bite of her snow cone "Ughhh brain freeze!" She moaned. I giggled"You shouldn't eat it so fast!" Aaron laughed "Hey Jason, want to make a bet? Whoever finishes their snow cone first gets to throw Harmony into the ocean!" "Ok!" He agreed. "Oh no." I started to panic and whispered "Guys you know how I am scared of the water!" Jade nodded "Please you can't seriously be that cruel guys!" "Ok we were just kidding Harmony" he lightly teased. " Um ok" I muttered. We talked for a couple more hours and I said my goodbyes so I could head home to my parents for dinner.
I arrived home and I didn't see my parents. I read a note "Honey go into the condo next door! Love you!" Mom & Dad
I went into the condo and gasped. My parents surprised me with a party! I entered delightedly and headed to my parents. "Hey mom and dad! Thank you for this party!" "You're welcome honey. I hope this isn't too much? "No it's..... perfect" I finished. I looked at the room and smiled.

It was everything that I wanted it to be. I spotted Jade, and Fawn and headed towards them. "Hey you!" Fawn chirped. "Long time no see."
"I know it has been like what 10 minutes. It seemed like ages since I've seen you" I joined in. Jade laughed, "Ok come on dance with me!" She slung an arm around Fawn and I and altogether we entered the dancefloor. I had the time of my life. We danced to "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. We three killed the dancefloor with our moves and we laughed so hard. "Omg Jade I love your dance moves" I gasped for air. She blushed"Hey I know I need to practice some more." "Hey you're amazing at dancing" Fawn giggled. "Whatever" she muttered. I laughed out loud until something hit me. "Harmony keep swimming! Don't stop until you've reach the shore."
