After a questionable pilot delivered them safely to Florida, Seraphina was finally able to get out of the awful suit. She took the liberty to get clothes for the group. Hank came with her so he would remain human like to any passerby with the use of her powers. She couldn't stay in the waiting room like the other: Charles' back surgery would take a number of hours way past five. So here she was at a mall, not knowing where to go.

Seraphina had lived in Europe her whole life, and she usually bought clothes at quaint boutiques. Not this mess of a building. She sighed and followed Hank into a store.

When they came back out they had enough shirts to give everyone two, and pair of pants, a couple belts in case they had the sizes wrong, and a separate bag for herself since they went to a different store. Or rather, she did. Hank stayed outside the entrance. When she got back to the hospital she passed the things out and left them too it while she went into the women's bathroom.

She had bought a rather low priced Hepburn dress in red. It was a little late in fashion trends but at that point trends were not the main concern. She also got a pair of flesh colored low heels, since the boot that came with the suit were as ugly as the suit itself. Sorry, Hank.

She came out into the waiting room to find only Sean had come back out. He looked up at her, still sad by the past few day's events. Not that she wasn't

"You couldn't have picked something that would match my eyes?" Sean said with a small smile.

"No, I couldn't have you looking prettier than myself," Seraphina replied ruffling his hair. It went back to silence when the others appeared.

Nearly four more hours passed before they got any news. Seraphina had fallen asleep on Hank's shoulder, but he wasn't as uncomfortable as it looked. Hank had gotten to know the German woman lately, so it wasn't nearly as awkward as it could have been.

The doctor's shoes clicked on the floor of the hospital when he paused in the waiting room with a clipboard.

"Miss Fischer?"

Seraphina woke up with a start, nearly falling out of her seat. With tired eyes, she looked up.

"Yes?"

"I have a few things to discuss." Her face fell. Murmuring a thanks to Hank she went with the doctor. He led her to outside Charles' room.

"Are you aware of the extent of his injuries?" the doctor began. Seraphina restrained herself from strangling him. Of course not!, she was thinking. You people haven't given us anything to be aware of!, she mentally shouted. Not that he could hear her.

"No," she said instead of losing her head over the matter.

"Mr. Xavier was shot in the lower spine, in an area which caused paralysis to his legs. I won't go in depth, but it's permanent. He won't be able to walk again."

She rubbed at the corners of her eyes, getting rid of the water that had collected there. She wasn't going to cry in front of this fool, although she was sure he had done everything he could.

"Can I go in?", was all she managed to say. The doctor seemed to pity her, because he allowed it even though she wasn't related.

Seraphina walked in and sat down in the chair next to him. She took his hand in hers and held onto it tightly for a few minutes.

"Charles, I know you're awake." she whispered. He opened one eye and smiled faintly.

"I can't trick you, can I? I just wanted to make the moment last." he whispered back. She offered a small grin. "I'm glad you didn't go with him," Charles told her.

"I couldn't leave you for that. Like that," Seraphina replied with a small amount of relief that he remembered everything. She struggled on the next few words.

"How are you with this? With all that's happened?"

"I'm...adjusting. I'll adjust. Still, it's hard to think I won't walk again," Charles told her.

"I'll be there to levitate you up the front steps," she added. Charles chuckled.

"I'll need that, won't I? But, um, I'd like to do much everything else myself," He said.

Seraphina nodded. She could respect that. Losing the ability to walk was an enormous disadvantage, and she could understand in part the want to remain as independent as possible.

"Once I'm all set in New York, you'll be okay? You could leave, go back home if you want," Charles stammered, surprising her. She smiled up at him, but it made him more nervous in truth.

"I think I'll be just fine in your house." Seraphina said it as if it wasn't a mansion. His face broke into a wide grin.

"You will?"

"Oh yes, I don't think I could bear leaving now or then," She said whilst smiling.

"Why is that?" He asked her. They were both grinning like idiots. She squeezed his hand.

"Because Charles, I love you."

She had come to that conclusion hours ago, waiting in that too-clean, antiseptic smelling waiting room. The words came out of her mouth like melted butter, too fast for her to process what she had admitted as oppose to trying to force it out. It seemed that the three little words held much more than just her love, because Charles leaned over the edge of the bed and kissed her with more emotions than she could register. She wasn't nearly as empathetic as he was, but it was undeniable what they both radiated.

Seraphina pushed Charles around the house, as they had only just gotten back to New York.

"What do you think? Isn't it a good idea?" Charles asked her.

It had taken nearly a week to get him discharged from the hospital in Florida. Since then he'd been talking about running a school in his mansion--with himself, Seraphina, Hank, Sean, and Alex as the teachers. Of course, he'd said, he'd hire others once he was sure they weren't going to speak about it being a mutant school.

"I think it's wonderful. How many do you think we'll manage?" Seraphina asked, taking in the beauty of the trees surrounding the property.

"As many as I can. Maybe more."

They both laughed lightly. A thought occurred to her.

"The government will realize how lucky it was that Professor X on their side." She said.

"I suppose I am a Professor, aren't I? Next thing you know, I'll be bald. We're still on their side, anyways. G-men, just without the G. I worry for Moira."

It was a sad thought. Once off the plane, Charles had wiped her memory of by means of a handshake. She would be missed, Seraphina thought.

"I guess we'll be our own team then. It's better, I suppose than being under control of the government. We'll be...X-Men."

That's a wrap, folks! I'm all finished with X-Men: First Class!

Now I'll be going onto the years before Days of Future Past. Now that I have a better idea on how to squeeze as much fluff and added plot for Seraphina into my chapters, I think it'll be better, a tad more captivating, and she'll be more involved. If she wasn't already. Hopefully DoFP will have more chapters pertaining to it that First Class did, but maybe that's because it's a longer movie.

Alright, done with my rant. Thanks so much for reading this far, I love you all!
