:...( I'm sorry for any pain and feels I've caused

It's been a while, I know. Rather than list excuses none of you care about, I'll just say I got into a book-reading phase I couldn't snap out of.

Plus it's lent for catholics, and I gave up leaving homework 'till last minute. So, go figure, Wattpad took a backseat.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO VOTED AND COMMENTED AND ADDED YOU'RE ALL WONDERFUL PEOPLE I WOULDN'T HAVE A STORY WITHOUT AN AMAZING AUDIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But enough about me! On with the story!!!!

Charles had begun stirring and hour ago, causing Seraphina to turn invisible but link her mind with Erik's an Logan's, and theirs with each other, and...you get the point. So it was this way they kept discussing(more like arguing) about her dilemmas while Logan appeared to sleep and Erik played a quiet game of chess with Charles; he was still winning despite talking in his head.

In her invisible state she traced the veins of black creeping up her arms. They stuck out slightly, giving her smooth skin hills and valleys. To be honest, she was impressed Erik hadn't flinched when he saw her.

Tell me again why you seem to have more power than should be normal? Erik asked. Between herself and Logan they managed to have confused the stoic Lehnsherr.

'The Phoenix Force--as it calls itself--is a power of the universe. It's infinite, and holds back the grand majority only allowing the host a portion. It is still a lot to take in, and obviously my body is still rejecting it,' she told him. What she left out is that she held a mental wall to keep her thoughts separate from the other. From her spot she noticed his eyebrow furrow in thought; whether it was from her answer or the chess match, she was unsure.

Is that why you requested us to kill you in case plans go south? Is there no way to control it?  Erik questioned. She sighed, staring at her nail beds. Talking and explaining herself was proving to be exhausting.

Where do you think your brother is?  Thankfully Logan cut Erik off, and changed the subject entirely.

The last time I saw him. . .well, Trask, or rather, an emissary of the devil caught up to us. If he wasn't set on experimenting on mutants I'd applaud his intelligence. Seraphina paused for a moment, Wouldn't you have a better idea? You are from the future.

As silly as it was her question had a strong curiosity. Logan hadn't mentioned the future often, but his memories provided a bleak, desolate place.

That's the thing, sweetheart. I've never heard of you. Neither Magneto or the Professor has ever mentioned you, much less talk regularly about a redhead and her brother. My guess is that you died before I walked into the picture.

The thought that she died in the near future was unsettling, but believable. She temporarily cut Erik off.

You knew what the Force was. How?

I've had the pleasure of meeting one of your cousins. Logan answered.

Who specifically? Maybe they know how to deal with this. It was a long shot, but worth the try.

You wouldn't have met her. Probably no more 'n a toddler right now. Jean Grey, that's her name, Logan  told her, with a tinge of sadness. His face in the real world showed mild signs of pain.

Ah, the one you loved, and the one you had to kill. I apologize.

The apology wasn't like what it had been, though. Seraphina had been drained in the last few years; from pain, from heartache, from emotion. Her only concern right now was her brother--and now Raven. She blamed some of that on the universal entity residing in her body. Allowing Erik a connection again, her head filled with colorful cusses because she had shut him off. She lied over the mental shouts saying she had nothing more to say that she cared too.
