Chapter 11 - Awkward Sibling Hug?

He stops trying to inch closer, and you then make your best and believable smile while you gave him a hug.

"NOTHING IS WRONG, HUMAN?"

"Nothing, why?"

"BECAUSE YOU LOOKED UPSET JUST A SECOND AGO. WAIT. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

You released him from the hug. "Papyrus? What... what were you doing?"

"I THOUGHT I COULD TRY TO CHEER YOU UP. YOU LOOKED SO UPSET. I CAN'T STAND TO SEE MY FRIENDS LIKE THIS! IT'S ALREADY BAD ENOUGH WITH SANS BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE HE WENT. AND I... I..."

"It's okay Paps. I was just trying to make sure that you don't feel down like I was feeling down."

"alright guys... i, uh, what are you two doing?" He said as he saw your faces close. His eyesockets are now empty.

"Sans? You're ba--"

"y'know what? you look like you just want Papyrus. i'll leave you two alone." He says as he storms out.

"Sans! Wait!" You shout out after him, tearing up. Papyrus then comes up behind you, and gives you a hug.

"HUMAN? I WILL HELP YOU FIND SANS. NO, I WILL TALK TO SANS. STAY HERE." You nod as he starts to walk out the door.

*Sans P.O.V.*
i can't believe her! but i can't exactly be upset with her. she's not mine. and i guess she never will be, either...

"SANS! I'VE FOUND YOU! I'M SO HAPPY!

"you aren't worth your new girlfriend. hmm...?" I snapped at him angrily.

"SHE'S NOT THAT KIND OF GIRLFRIEND! SHE IS MY GIRL FRIEND, THOUGH!"

"doesn't matter. she seems to rather be with you."

"NO, SANS! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN HER AFTER YOU LEFT ANGRILY. SHE STARTED TO CRY. ALL BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT WE WERE ACTUALLY DOING. WE WERE JUST TALKING AND THEN SHE HUGGED ME SO I WOULDN'T FEEL DOWN EITHER ABOUT YOU DISAPPEARING."

"yeah, sure."

"LOOK, CAN WE AT LEAST GO HOME? IT'S STARTING TO GET DARK OUTSIDE. PLUS, IT IS VERY HOT HERE."

"...fine..."

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

You say there crying - thinking about what just happened, for almost the whole time Paps was out. You wipe your tears, wash your face, and decide to take a walk. You walk around town, talking to every monster you could in Snowdin. You then start to feel very tired, and head back to Sans and Papyrus's house. You open the door there to see both of them home. You smile and you run to them. But Sans immediately walks upstairs once he sees you in the corner of his eyesocket. You follow him, only to have the door shut in your face and locked the door, only to plop your pj's in your hands - not even looking at you.

You sighed, and walked downstairs. You sat next to Papyrus. "I'M SORRY HUMAN. TONIGHT, I GUESS YOU'LL SLEEP WITH ME." You nod.
"GO AND GET CHANGED. AND I'LL MEET YOU UPSTAIRS."

You go to the bathroom and change your clothes with your pajamas. You also went to Papyrus's room.

"NOW HUMAN. WOULD YOU MIND READING ME A BEDTIME STORY?"

"Of course not. Which one Papyrus?" He gets up and walls to the book.

"THIS ONE!"

I close the book and settle into the spot on the bed he left for me. It didn't take me long to fall asleep.
