Chapter 17 - "AngelHeart...?"

Undyne had met with a shocked looking Papyrus and Sans.

"what's with you and getting hurt?" He asked not so playfully.

"Well, this time - I didn't do it... Even though all the other times, I still didn't do it..." You reply as Undyne sets you down gently on the couch.

"HUMAN? UNDYNE? WHAT DID YOU TWO DO?" Papyrus still can't manage to find a way to lower his voice. What else is new?

"WELL, THE HUMAN PUNK WENT TO MY HOUSE TO CONFRONT ME ABOUT THE BATTLE WE WERE EVENTUALLY GOING TO HAVE. SO WE FOUGHT - BUT NOW WE'RE FRIENDS... BUT NOW SHE'S HURT... AGAIN...." She gives a toothy smile. "AT LEAST IT WAS ME THIS TIME - RIGHT SANS?" She turns the attention to Sans, who was now slightly blushing.

"erm, right." He adds casually. I groan in frustration and I pull out my phone.

"Oh, Alphys had called me..." You add, casually. "I wonder why. I'm gonna call her back." You press the redial button, and she picks up almost immediately.

Over the phone:
"(Y-Y/N)? Where w-were you?" She asked worriedly.

"At Undyne's," I respond. "I had a little... 'talk' with her. But we're good now. We're buddies."

"OH, ALPHYS! ARE YOU COMING TO SANS AND PAPYRUS' HOUSE?" Undyne yells in the direction of the phone. Not in the phone - at the phone.

"U-um... No, I-I wasn't pl-planning on it..." She says, when you put the call on speaker phone.

"OH, YOU SHOULD! ME, SANS, PAPYRUS, AND THE PUNK ARE HERE!" She adds, and smiles as if she Alphys could see through the phone.

"U-um... okay. I-I'll be over th-there soon." And with that, she hung up.

Off the phone:

"I don't think she told me what she originally called me for..." You roll your eyes.

"chill bud. she can just tell you when she comes over." Sans shot back. You stuck your tongue out at him. He then sticks out a 'tongue' that was made (probably) with his blue magic. You blush and look away.

"Yeah, I guess." You look at the couch.

"HEY, HUMAN!" Papyrus calls out for you.

"What is it Papyrus?" You turn your gaze to him. He smiles, knowing he has your attention.

"ALPHYS HAS A FRIEND SHE MIGHT BRING OVER..." He chuckles lightly before he adds; "I THINK YOU MIGHT LIKE HER! NYEH HEH HEH!" He runs outside, it seems in the direction of the Waterfalls. Probably to get Alphys to get that friend of hers.

"So... Who's that friend of hers?" You ask, curiously.

"well her actual name is AngelHeart Mackenzie Thurman, but she allows us to call her AngelHeart. she is actually really nice. and she had powers!" It seems like Sans kinda likes her, which makes you feel... envious? "she has the power to control fire and spawn Celestial! Blasters and spawn three skeleton dragons."

"BUT SADLY..." Undyne pitches in, "SHE WAS ABUSED BY HER PARENTS AND BULLIED AT SCHOOL. BUT, ONE DAY, SOMEONE WHO LOOKS LIKE SANS, STARTED STICKING UP TO HER. AND THEN THEY STARTED DATING! ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHIPS!" Undyne yells loudly.

Hearing about AngelHeart makes you... jealous?
