Chapter 15 - "Why Are You Like This? Part 2"

"so now even Frisk is after you?" He taps his foot as he tried to think of a solution. You look at him, confused.

"Didn't you say that Frisk went missing? Where would they even hide all this time?" He looks you dead in the eye, and he stops the tapping of his foot.

"i did. but i don't know where they went for all this time." He stops and shakes his head so you can see his pinpricks again.

"Hey, uh, Sans?" You cautiously try to get his attention as quietly as you could.

"hmm? what is it (Y/N)?" He doesn't even look at you. Then again, he wasn't really looking at anything - maybe the wall?

"Do you think Undyne put them up to this?" Your tremble a little as you thought about Undyne. She's a beast. You thought to yourself, bitterly.

"i, honestly, wouldn't be surprised bucko." Another nickname? Maybe he was trying to lighten the mood? At this point, you weren't sure about Sans anymore. All you had figured out was that he knows more then he lets on. That he's not always a punny jokester, that he could be quite the cruel skelie if he wanted to.

"Where do you think Frisk had even gone?" You look at him, questioningly. He shrugs before answering quietly.

"i dunno. that's what I'm trying to figure out..." He trails off and the room was silenced. It was only quiet for a few more moments until you spoke up, obviously uneasy.

"Are you sure you're just thinking about the Frisk situation?" He has 'pupils' gone again. "Are you sure it's not anything else?" He tries to speak, but he thinks about what he's gonna reply with.

"i'm not gonna explain to you right now, kid. as much as you may want me to." You sigh and nod it his explanation.

"Can ya do it later, than? I really want to know what is bugging you so much." You quietly and fretfully reply.

"fine. maybe tomorrow." His mood seems to brighten a little as he looks as if he remembered something. "now, i really don't wanna be a buzzkill or anything, but," He says taking out your pills. "you gotta take these. here. i already for you some water. aren't i just the greatest?"

"For the fact you almost killed me once and done nothing but upset me and Paps the last few days, sure? Why not?" You watch him droop his shoulders.

"oh, yeah. sorry..." He says softly, while you sit on Sans' bed.

"It's okay." You watch him head to his door.

"i'm gonna go out for a bit. stay here, okay bud?" You hear only the steady breath from both of you before you decide to answer.

"Okay. Don't be out for too long. Good knows what will happen while you're gone." He mutters a couple of cuss words and opens his door before sighing.

"i promise, bucko. i'll beer back as soon as possible." He closes the door fully behind him.

You walk over to his bed and decide to sit on it. You bring your legs up to your face and rock back and forth.

'What does Undyne want me? Why is she using another human against me? I want to go and try to fix things with her, but at the same time...' Your thoughts trail off to you crying.

"I don't know what to do. I can't really do anything at this point. I'm gonna slowly lose my mind. I'm gonna do things I'm gonna regret. And then..." You couldn't finish your sentence as you broke into tears. Those tears became sobs. Papyrus heard you and quietly walks into Sans' room and makes a beeline to you.

"H-HUMAN? W-WHAT'S WRONG?" Your can hear his voice break as it sounds as if he's crying.

"I... I don't know what to do at this point, Paps." You look at him with tearstains. "I'm gonna go insane and do things I don't wanna. I wanna fix this 'problem' with Undyne... but I don't know how I could. She's using another human against me. She already tried to kill me once... No." You wipe your tears and stand up. "I'm going to Undyne's. If I don't come back, you probably already know the story." You bolt or of Sans's room and our the house to Waterfalls.

This strange feeling...

It's... familiar...

Whatever it is - it encourages you to continue forth.

When you eventually reach Undyne's house, you stop and think.

'Sorry Sans. I have to try to stop her from murdering me. I have to try." Instead of feeling fear, you now feel anger bubbling inside you. You know on the door.

"Yo! Undyne!" You hear heavy thumping and see her. Without any warning, she summons a blue spear. She's about to pierce your skin and stops to see you not even flitch.

"W-what?!" She says furious.

"Undyne." You clench your both hands. "We need to talk." You say, you shaking full of rage.

Sorry loves! It's been very hard for me to update because of how busy I've been. It doesn't help that my friends tell me I shouldn't update this and been putting me down. This has been well needed, and for those who still read this; thank you so much for being really patient.
