One day, when the girl that could control rain unleashed her power, the two tricksters went to church to worship their creator. That's something he'd learned about her, and he liked that. While at church, her uncle kept pouncing on asking her if she liked the boy. Her uncle kept a secret: a secret that shadowed the heart. He heard them, but the boy had made himself invisible so he wouldn't be seen. He wasn't eavesdropping, he was just scared, and so he hid. After all, that was his game. He'd grown with it, becoming invisible when he felt something bad coming. Maybe it was.
The girl said no. She only saw the boy as her best friend. Then, back in the car, they were talking. And somehow the boy had let his wall crumble down in front of her. He cried. And after a while, after he regained himself, the girl asked him "what if we are meant to marry?" The boy didn't have an answer. Up to the day he doesn't.
