Update. Update. Update.
No matter how great your story is if you don't update regularly then it's very likely that you will loose your current and potential readers. I know that if I click on a story and the author hasn't updated in over a month and there's no mention of it being on hold then I forget about it and move on to the next one.
Having your chapters prewritten makes updating alot faster and easier.
If you tend to get busy with school, work, assignemnts, or you might have to share your computer, (alot of us do) why not before you post your story on Wattpad write about eight chapters so that way, say if you lost interest and don't want to finish it you wouldn't be letting down all your readers and also it's really good for if your in a rush.
You simply write the chapter in word beforehand, save it, then when you want to update copy and paste it into Wattpad and click publish. There now you've updated! See simple.
