Today is probably not the best day of my life. I was stuck to babysit four annoying, slobbering kids by myself for the whole afternoon. Only reason being is because all the adults are preparing for the "Event". Everyone else is stuck with taking care of the younger kids or their families' shops.

I was supposed to take care of the shop but then a friend of my dad's didn't have anyone to take care of his kids. My dad had the best idea and decided to take the kids in and dump it on his daughter. Brilliant parenting, brilliant. And so, I was stuck to take care of the shop as well as take care of children. It's a good thing, however, that there's not a lot of business or else the whole shop would've gone down in flames.

I continued to eye the children, calling Daiv to come back from the front of the shop, Liz to stop poking her sister's eyes out and Uli to stop climbing the cabinet. Wait, that's the uneven cabinet that tends to fall on customers. Suddenly afraid, I stood up from my seat and briskly walked over to Uli and ,somehow, managed to remove her from the uneven cabinet and set her down with her sisters. Whew. That would've been a disaster. I looked back at the other kids and counted them. Uli, Liz, and Emi. I was missing a kid. I frantically looked around trying to find Daiv.

"Daiv? Daiv!" I called, raising my voice a bit louder every time. I continued to walk around the shop and decided to check the front of the shop.

"Daiv!!" I yelled loudly, without noticing that the door opened and that someone was within yelling range.

"Ouch!" He reacted and held his left ear.

"Sorry!" I replied back to the man. I looked up to see Felix, my best friend, and brother. I was about to question him when I felt something tugging my shirt. I looked down to see Daiv in his arms smiling.

"Daiv," I smiled and took him out of my sibling's arms. I looked up at Felix, "Where did you-"

"Find him?" He finished. I nodded. He replied, "He was in front of the shop and I recognized him as one of the kids you were looking after. So I picked him up and opened the door only to get yelled at." He looked at me accusingly.

I sighed and apologized to him as well as thanking him for finding Daiv. "That reminds me," I started, "weren't you supposed to help me with the shop today?"

He froze but kept his smile, "Yup, but I had to help the others out."

"Others?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Yeah, I had to help them out with a few things."

"Like?"

"Hm.. ," he looked up and grinned, his silver eyes showed utmost joy and happiness. That's when...

"Surprise!!" Voices came from behind me. Surprised, I jumped and slowly looked behind me. Erwin, Yani, and Kasen were smiling and had the same sparkle in their eyes as Felix. My mouth was left to agape at their appearance. Erwin had Uli on his shoulders and was pulling on his dirty blonde hair. Yani had Liz in her arms which was weird considering Yani dislikes children more than me. And lastly, Kasen who had baby Emi cuddled in her arms. I was impressed. They managed to tame the beasts.

"How did you guys?" I muttered.

"Easy, just play with them till your wear 'em out," Erwin replied while trying to stop Uli from making a bald spot.

"I guess be kind to them?" Kasen answered with a questionable gaze as if trying to solve her own response.

"I have no clue," Yani replied shrugging her shoulders.

All I can do was make a smile. That's when I remembered. "So, what are you guys doing here?" I asked. They looked at each other as if trying to find a response. All I got was "Well" or "You see". I pressed the subject matter a bit.
