Another day of trying to save Naruto, another failure, Sasuke was so desperate to save his friend, yet he couldn't bring him out of the darkness, Sasuke was in his apartment, staring at the ceiling, thinking of what could've happened if he went for vengeance, what could've happened if Naruto wasn't the vengeful one, all of these thoughts kept coming as he closed his eyes and thought to himself." Why...Naruto?"

Hinata was outside walking all by herself, a sad look on her face, the words of her lover always repeated in her mind over and over and over again." Why were you never for me if you truly love me?" Sakura just kept feeling guilt, the guilt that came when she kept treating Naruto cruelly, the guilt that she despised him so much and never paid attention to him, as she kept wishing she had a chance to take that back, to take back all of the words she said, all of the actions she made that harmed Naruto, she still remembered the good boy who wished to become hokage, the boy with the kindest heart that wanted her attention, the boy who said at the top of his lungs the word 'I won't give up' but this boy is no more, he's gone, the current Naruto isn't the one she knew."
