Chapter 29.

Father and son.

Flashback, 1 hour earlier.
Minato watched through the Shinigami's belly of what was his son, Naruto, doing, the words that his son told him kept repeating in Minato's head, the guilt still eating him up as he knew what kind of treatment his own son went through.

He thought everyone would hate him but he was yet grateful that there are still people that care about him.

Despite the mountain of guilt Minato felt, he couldn't help but also feel pride for his son, just like Jiraiya felt, he saw Naruto control the Nine-tail's chakra and he was stronger than he was before, he did what nobody can do, just then suddenly, he felt light coming out of his stomach, as it slowly started to cover him, he looked at the shinigami with wide eyes, is that his doing? "Are you....is this your doing?". Minato asked him, the Shinigami chuckled as the light reached his neck." It is someone else's, but I would've done it anyways, go see your little brat Namikaze". The Shinigami answered, Minato couldn't help but feel a wide of mixed emotions, but nevertheless, he was completely happy, he has chance to finally make it up, to finally see his son again....
(To Reality)

Minato observed his surroundings as he finally came back to the real world, he looked around him as he realized he was in a cave, then he saw a masked man with a hood over his head standing in front of him." I suppose you are the one who brought me back?". The Fourth Hokage guessed." No questions shall be asked Minato, I decided to give you one chance to make it up for your son, so do your best". He smiled under his mask, as he led him out of the cave, Minato felt a great amount of chakra coming from his left, he immediately recognized it." Naruto...".  He thought, before Minato went, the man held his shoulder, giving him a serious look." Minato, I must tell you something, Madara has given Naruto half of the truth so he can get him immediately by his side, not telling him that he was the one who released the Nine-tailed fox". He explained." Why are you telling me this?". Minato asked, the hooded man opened his palm to show Minato a seal." A seal? What for?". Minato asked again." Don't ask question Fourth, haven't I told you that already?". The man said." I'm the Hokage and he's ordering me around....". Minato thought, the man placed his hand over his chest and Minato felt a small, yet different type of chakra in him." Now open your palm". The man said, Minato opened his palm and saw that the same seal that was over the man's palm made its way on his now." When you have the chance, place your hand over your son's forehead, you are able to transfer your memories, or what you have seen the day of October 10th, to your son's memories, basically telling him the full version of the truth". He explained." But will that save him?". Minato asked." I doubt it, he would find forgiveness for you, but I doubt he would still shed mercy upon the leaf". The man said, Minato nodded as he finally disappeared quickly to his son's location.....

Flashback End.
"L-Lord F-Fourth...". Sakura muttered, in front of her stood the leaf's yellow flash and the Fourth Hokage himself, Minato, Naruto kept standing at his place, his eyes were filled with anger and hatred towards his father as the grip on his kunai has gotten stronger, with each moment passing by, Naruto's blood started to boil slowly." What are you doing here?". Naruto growled deeply." Is it too much to ask for? To stay out of my goddamn way?". Naruto continued, his nails on his other hand digging through his skin." Minato....". Jiraiya said weakly, Minato turned around and his eyes landed on the injured Sage." I...". Jiraiya tried to speak but his throat was dry." Sensei, I understand, I forgive you". Minato said, smiling, then he turned to Sakura. "You're a medical ninja, right?". Minato asked, Sakura shook her head." Take him at a safe place, not too far or too close from here and try to heal what you can heal from his wounds". The blonde Hokage ordered, Sakura shook her head as she placed Jiraiya's hand over her shoulder and jumped off. "Son...". Minato said, but Naruto sent daggers as a response." Don't you even DARE call me your son! After everything you put me through!". Naruto shouted, Minato wouldn't blame the great amount of hatred and the killing intent he felt from Naruto, Minato wanted to speak but suddenly Naruto lunged at him, slashing Minato's right arm, but Minato was quick enough to evade his second attack." Naruto listen-". Minato tried to to talk to Naruto, but all what Naruto did was attack on and on, Minato was defending himself against these attacks, he didn't want to harm him but rather do what he had to do.

But doing what he had to do had to make him hurt his son isn't it?

With having no choice at all, Minato stepped away from Naruto and prepared his kunai, daring Naruto to charge, Naruto, with blind anger, attacked and charged with a rasengan on his hand, Minato did the same thing, time went so slow and Minato imagined him and his own son with their wife, a happy family all smiling together, he wished what's best for his son, however, the world isn't always   fair. "Fate is truly a cruel mistress isn't it? Naruto?". Minato thought, just as they were really close, Naruto's rasengan almost made contact with him, but just in time, Minato teleports over Naruto, with a rasengan on his hand." WHAT?!". Naruto thought, that's where the gears in his mind started to grind, his father's teleportation jutsu! Before Naruto even made a single move, the rasengan hit his back, hard, as soon as he immobilized his son, he quickly placed his hand over his son's forehead." Seal!".........

It's been a month since I updated this book, and I definitely  made you all wait a very long time, i already said I would update in no time, and I didn't keep that promise, I apologized so many times and I don't think this one will count, anyways, here's the chapter!
