I'm helping Odell's mom make dinner. I never felt more at home than being with his family. His mom called everyone to dinner. The whole time I could feel Odell's eyes and smile on my face as someone would ask him a question about us.
"Everyone. I have announcement to make." Odell says. I couldn't help but wonder what was going on. "As you all know. I'm madly in love with Monique Na'Kya Harris." he says.
"Odell?" I start.
"Mo I know we started our relationship rocky. But making you the happiest person in the world. I know what I say gets in our sex lives a little bit. But you give it to me good babygirl. I love you and will you marry me." I ask her. I cover my mouth and tears start to form. "Yes. Yes I will baby." I say as he lifts me off my feet.
"Congratulations!" his mom says. "Guys why don't we go for a walk. Leave the happy couple alone for a bit.
"How does it feel to be engaged?" he asks. "I like it. I like the idea of an island wedding. Hawaii or the Bahamas." I say.
"I like the way you think. Now we got to practice for our honeymoon night" he says as he lifts me up so my legs can wrap around his waist.
"I love you." I say.
