Finding out the gender?

It had been about a month since they had the fight and had been doing better. Maya was still an emotional wreck and Lucas always made things better. They were laying on the couch cuddling and Lucas had his hand protectively on Maya's baby bump which was getting a little bigger. Maya looked at Lucas and smiled at him "What do you think the baby is going to be?" she asked softly as he looked down at her. "I feel like it's a girl but other days I swear it could be a boy. But either way I'd be excited. What about you? Do you have mother's intuition about what the baby will be?" Maya laughed a little and shook her head. "Today I feel like the baby could be a girl but somedays I think it could be a boy. I'm just as confused as you Ranger Rick." Lucas laughed "Well your appointment tomorrow will tell us what the baby will be." Maya's eyes lit up as she got an idea, now she wasn't one for surprises but she thought this would be a great one. "Babe what if we don't find out the gender.. We wait until the baby is born instead. I know I typically hate surprises but this seems like a lot of fun since we both don't have any clue of what we think it will be.." Maya smiled brightly at him as she explained her whole entire idea to him hoping he wouldn't mind. "But baby I reallllly want to know... But if this is really what you want then of course." Lucas smiled and Maya leaned forward kissing him.

Lucas and Maya got ready for their appointment. When they arrived for the anatomy scan to make sure the baby was growing properly they explained that they didn't not want to know the gender. The ultrasound tech was a professional and made sure to turn the screen away from them when checking the sex of the baby. As they were leaving Maya was super calm not knowing what the baby will be was so cool to her.

Once they got home and ate something for lunch Maya looked at Lucas. "We should decide on some names we like for baby berry? We don't have to decide now but options will be good." Lucas smiled "Okay top 3 names for a boy and a girl." Maya nodded and thought about some names "Okay for a boy Greyson, Shawn and Drake. For a girl hmm.. Lily, Mila, and Isabella or Gabriella I can't decide." Lucas smiled and nodded his head approving the names. "For me, I really like Wyatt, Noah, and Gabriel and Blake. For a girl Alaina, Everly, and Adalynn." Maya loved those names too, this was going to be a hard decision to make. "Ugh come on ranger rick I thought you were going to pick gross names and I actually love them all. This is going to be so difficult." Lucas laughed. "How about we invite over Farkle, Riley and Zay and they can help us pick on some names or add some more to the list since they all want the baby to be names after them." Maya pulled out her phone real quick and sent out a group text to the three tellong them they had to come over tomorrow to help pick out a name or else it was going to be sundance or ranger rick. They all replied back fast saying they can't wait. They really love being able to be apart of baby berries life.
