Amira POV
It's been two weeks and I decide to go see Odell at practice, I figure he won't be acting like an ass in front of his team mates. However I get here and find out that's its a closed practice so I'm in the office talking to the stadium staff till 3pm.
*3pm
I'm in the parking lot standing by his car with my bag in one hand and my phone in the other.
"Hey Mrs.Beckham. *Victor and Rashad
"Hey guys, How was practice?
"It was good but your hubby is aggressive as hell. I think he needs your special touch. *Victor
"I doubt it. *Amira
Rashad frowns as Odell walks out
"What are you doing here?
"I thought we could go home together.
He glares at me and I stare at him right back
"Well let me leave this sexual tension. bye y'all. *Victor
Victor walks away.
"Amira text me later, I want your input on foundation stuff.
"Okay.
(Rashad never ask me about helping with his foundation stuff, hmm)
He walks away as Odell gets in his car. I get in the car and we just sit in silence
"So what that's about? You trying to fuck Rashad too?
"What! no. You heard what he said: he wants help with his foundation. I do have knowledge inner city children and healthcare.
"Whatever. So what do you want?
"I want to come back home and I want to work things out. I love and miss you.
"I'm trying to get Sarah pregnant.
I feel like I just got punched in the face.
"Oh. Well just send me divorce papers.
I grab my bag and leave the car in tears. I just lost my husband.
Odell POV
It's been two days since I've seen Amira and dropped that bombshell on her. I'm in my living room chilling with the dogs, as my mom comes storming in.
"Odell Cornelius Beckham jr, have you lost your mind? You trying to get that trifiling white trash becky pregnant!
"Yea so what?
"Yea you lost your mind.
"Ow. Momma stop hitting me
"Not till you make up with your wife. Besides not talking to you, Amira doesn't deserve this at all. She had a damn panic attack from all this stress and she was in the hospital.
"Is she okay?
"Do you really care?
"Yes I do. I still love her and I'm just in pain.
"You need to let go of that pain. It's not Amira fault that Kavarhra was crazy and you know it. Let me tell you something because of the law suit that the Holmes family(Kavarhra family) have on Jarvis, put a lot of stuff to light. Jarvis lawyers found out some stuff. *Mama Heather
"Like what?
"That Kavarhra was a really digusting person that preyed on women. Amira isn't his first victim and it apparently started in highschool. Remember Lakeisha Edwards?
"That was his first girlfriend, she moved.
"She moved because of him.
"Wow.
"You grieving over a person that doesn't deserve it at all, when you need to be comforting and consoling your wife.
"Yea.
I grab my phone and I stare at the lockscreen picture, its from our honeymoon.
"Should I call her?
"No.
"Why?
"Because.
She walks out the door and seconds later she is pushing Amira through it.
"Your mom kidnapped me.
"You can't kidnap family. *Mama Heather
My mom leaves as Amira are petting the dogs. She finishes then looks at me
"I don't want to talk right now but can you just hold me
"Yea.
I hold her and we end up falling asleep on the couch.
