He greeted me with a fake friendly smile on his face and told me he had a gun aimed at me. He said if I made a sound, he wouldn't think twice about blowing my brains out.
With him on my arm and a man behind me, we left the lot and crossed the side walk before getting in a van that was waiting for them. The driver started the car and drove down the street.
Derrick quickly tied my wrists and feet tightly. I squeaked in pain.

"Derrick please don't do this.. Please." I said as tears blinded my vision.
He laughed. "It wasn't you I was after. I wanted Kim. But you and Bateman were always with her. I knew it was going to be difficult to get her alone."
"W-why?"
"I told you not to mess with me, didn't I?"
"Derrick.. I'm sorry. Please let me go." I begged him.
He growled. "Someone shut her up!"
"No! Please.. Don't hurt me-"

Before I knew it, one of the kidnappers poured chloroform in his handkerchief and placed it over my mouth.
Seconds later I began to feel light headed. Then everything began to spin, everything was just so fuzzy. My stomach was twisted but before I got the chance to figure out what was going on everything stopped and I felt numb.

Next day

Slowly rising from the depths of oblivion, feeling returning to my fingers and toes.
I grunted, rolled over and curled up more tightly, hugging my  knees between my arms.
Something about the atmosphere surrounding me didn't seem right, so cautiously opening one eye I quickly scanned the room.
Awareness came in a flash, this wasn't within my comfort zone, this was strange and in some ways frightening.

What happened?
How did I get here?
Where is here?
Why am I here?

So many thoughts scrambled to the surface in panic that a thin film of perspiration began to form on my brow and upper lip.
Fear was setting in and there was nothing I could do to stop it, no comforting words or thoughts, nothing reassuring came to mind.

"I see you're finally up."

I glanced behind me to find Derrick seated on an armchair.

"Good morning Stacey."
"Derrick... Please..."
He rolled his eyes. "Ugh enough! Stop begging already. It makes you look so pathetic."

I begun to cry.

Why is he doing this?

"Then let me go. Kim needs me."
"She has her daddy."
"Derrick, if you once felt... anything for me... anything at all-"
He laughed. "Really? You're seriously using the 'if you ever felt anything for me' card?"

I swallowed.

"I never felt anything for you by the way. It was all an act, Stacey. Just to get close to you. That was the plan. I'm not even a lawyer."
"W-what?"
"You stole something from someone. And now, she wants to get even with you."
"But... I... I didn't..."
"Oh you did honey. You'll find out soon enough... I make a pretty good actor don't I?" He grinned.
"How could you do this? You lied to me." I mumbled in between sobs.

Derrick opened his mouth to say something but closed it as he heard the door open.
A beautiful blonde woman entered.

"Hello Derrick." She purred.
"Jane Smith... You look hot as always." Derrick groaned as he undressed her with his eyes.

That's the bitch who broke Eric's heart?

She slowly turned to me with a disgusted look on her face.

"This is Stacey Greene? The one who took Eric away from me?" She asked, pointing at me.
"Yep. That's her." Derrick replied.
She laughed loudly. "Seriously? I'm really disappointed in Eric. She's no match for me."

Derrick chuckled.

"If you loved Eric you shouldn't have cheated on him!" I snapped.

She raised a brow.

"Who said anything about love? I was with him for his money... and his huge, huge di-"
"Shut up!"

She's really a well crafted witch... a well crafted beautiful witch.

"Maybe I should go visit him. I miss the feeling of him buried deep inside me."
"Don't you dare you passive aggressive gold dig-"

I was cut off when Jane firmed her fist  and gave me a good blow to the face.
I blacked out, immediately becoming unconscious then tumbled backwards against the indestructible cemented wall.
