Who's to judge? (Nick x judy fanfic)

Love blossoms!

Nick had been finally released from the hospital, his wounds all patched and healed. However chief Bogo didint want to see his face for another week. Judy had been waiting at the front in the police car they both shared regularly. Nick had been in the hospital for about 2 weeks.

"Hey nick!" Judy yelped beeping her horn, nick walked over to the vehicle and got in, giving Judy a quick peck on her puffy cheeks causing them to flush red.

They had kept their relationship secret for now as interspecies relationships wasn't a common thing in the city of zootopia. It wasn't largely discriminated, but there were still animals who looked down upon it.

"Babe can we go somewhere to eat, I'm starving!" Nick said

"Aha of course! To where? Oh! I know why don't we go to that new fancy restaurant! You know? Finish that date we never got to finish??"  Judy said quite frantically

"You bunnies so energetic aren't ya?, aha but a burger or two will be enough, but we should go to it on the weekends when you don't have work"

"Of course we are! And that actually sounds pretty nice" Judy admitted, she loved the idea of going out on a date with her new boyfriend.

The two couldn't get over each other. They simply were crazy in love with each other! Nick couldn't get Judy out of his mind ever since she had confessed her love for him. His heart always bumped loudly when she was near him and so did hers

"So did chief buffalo tell you what time you were due at work?" Judy giggled at the new nickname she gave chief Bogo

"Aha chief buffalo butt? Nice one carrots! But yeah he said he doesn't want to see me till next week so the next few days I'm all yours" nick said, causing Judy to have a tiny heart attack at the words "I'm all yours"

"Oh! Oh! Oh!" Judy yelped clasping her hands together "I've been thinking! Since we're together you think me staying with you would be a good idea!" Nick looked down at his bunny who flustered with excitement mixed with nervousness. He took her into his arms and hugged her tightly

"It's a great idea carrots I love it!" She squealed at the sudden hug.

***that night***

Judy had decided to drive to nicks place to stay the night. It was closer to the hospital anyway. She noticed nothing much changed except the loud music that came from finnicks room.

She plumped herself on the couch and turned to nick who was standing near the entrance stuffing his wallet and phone in his pockets. She slapped her hand repeatedly on The space next to her, signalling nick to give her attention

"Sit"

Nick wagged his tail slightly whilst moving over to Judy, he sat down and pulled her in close wrapping his tail around her like a blanket. Judy wrapped her arms around it hugging his tail

"I miss how fluffy your tail is!" She exclaims

Nick remembered a couple weeks ago when they had movie night. He also remembered his dream. "Hey carrots...." He whispered in her ear "I love you" Judy blushed, and replied with the same words

"I love you too"

After a few hours of cooking dinner, cleaning up and watching some tv the two felt weary and tired. Nick suggested that they sleep together.

"I'd love to!" Judy said

Nick picked her up from the couch, bridal style and carried her towards the bedroom there he laid her down, quickly jumping beside her cupping his arms around her waist and then pulling her in closer to his chest.

"Good night carrots" he said with a wide grin on his face

"Night"  Judy said with an even wider smile and a hint of blush. Her heart couldn't keep up with the amount affection she was given. Nick once again wrapped his tail around her and dosed off to a peaceful sleep same with his bunny Judy hopps
