Who's to judge? (Nick x judy fanfic)

Time to go

Two weeks had passed, nick and Judy had been spending time with each other like crazy. They went to the movies, went to restaurants, spent a day at an amusement park, and they loved it. However it was time for nick to finally depart with fangmeyer and jack savage for their mission

"Oooooo I'm going to miss you!" Judy said who was burying her head in nicks neck

"I'm sure I won't be long" nick assured her. Their hug was endless. Nick wanted to kiss her so badly but he knew how much that would embarrass her in front of the officers so he refrained from doing it. Tears began to tear up in Judys eyes as the hug continued

"P..please be safe" she wailed

A flush of emotion splashed nicks body, his legs trembled at how worried she was for him, the deep amount of affection she was emitting made nick weak. He too started to tear up

"Don't worry carrots... I..I'll be safe I promise" nick slowly broke off the hug and stared deeply into her violet amethyst eyes

"Wilde let's go" jack said who was already in the van with fangmeyer
Nick slowly walked away from the ZPD building and entered the black van waving out to Judy as they drove off

Judy felt as if a large chunk of her heart had just left her. She was without nick and she felt it was for a while. Luckily she had his number and furbook account so she could at least video call him here and now. She entered the building and was immediately called over by clawhauser

"Hey JUDY! Oh I mean... Judy there's a new officer on the force and Bogo asked you to show him around"

"A new officer? What's his name" she asked

"His names Owen he's a rabbit like you! Oh here he is"

Judy looked towards bogos office and saw the rabbit exit. He was rather well built. His fur was Hazel, and his outfit fitted him well.

"Hello Owen I'm officer Judy hopps" Judy said with a smile, she outstretched her paw to shake his

"O..oh! Um hey I'm Owen... I mean you already knew that.. It's n..nice to meet you" he said nervously. Judy could see how nervous he was, probably because it was first day on the job.

"Nervous eh? Don't worry you will get used to it" Judy snorted while playfully shoving his shoulder

"Come I'll show you around"

The two walked around The building for at least 20 Minutes before they reached Judys and nicks office

"This here is me and my partners office!" Judy said gleefully. The two entered it and sat down

"Who's your partner?" Owen asked

"Nick, he's a fox" Judy replied

"A fox! He must get annoying sometimes I imagine"

Judy snarled at the statement but sighed as it wasn't entirely wrong, nick was annoying at times when they spent time in the office together

"Yeah he's pretty annoying sometimes" Judy giggled

"But he's nice, he's one of the best animals I've met in my life"

Owen raised an eyebrow at her words and said

"T..that's nice"
