Dane's POV
I convince myself that i had to do it , i had to kill Liam for us , for Alex and i to be safe from the others .
I walked down and see Liam still aiding his leg on the couch .
He saw me as if he just saw a monster , his mouth went agape and his eyes widen
"What have you done to her?!" He seethed , this guy is amazing i tell you , that's why he was my bestfriend .
He can still think of others above himself , he's always a good person , it's rare to find those these days .
"What makes you think i did anything to her?" I said back
"Obviously you did , so what now? You gonna let me go?" He asked
I went to him on the couch he was sitting and pat his back ,
"Of course Liam , of course , how about i let you out the door eh?" I smiled but deep inside i know i was lying .
He struggled as he tried to get up from the couch and i crouched to grab him up by the shoulders.
"Promise me you wont tell anyone" i said as i looked into his eyes ,
"i promise" he said as he looked away from my gaze , i know he was lying , he would definetly run off to the police straight after this .
I led him towards the front door . And ready the gun on my back pocket . I'm sorry Liam , i had to . The thoughts in my head says .
As he walked at least a meter away from me i aimed the gun at him, as he heard the click of the gun .
He looks back a bit and sprint , i shot him , then i saw his body laid limp on the ground , not moving .
It was dark , the clock strikes 11 . Perfect to hide a body . I quickly went back to my house and tried to find a shovel .
As i rushed to Liam's body , he was gone .
"Fcuk! " i screamed , turned out he ran away . So i did what i had to do to keep alex away from being taken away from me
I rushed upstairs to my room and saw alex eyes went wide at my appearance
I untied her from the bed and quickly dragged her out of the room as i took some clothing on the way and some personal needs for me and her .
"Where's Liam?!!" She asked me
"Dane amswer me!"
"What are you doing?"
"Where are we going?"
I was bombarded with so many question that i screamed at her face
"SHUT UP!!! This is all because of you!!! We're moving again!!"
She whimpers at my sudden outburst , great' i thought , i just frightened her again , who knows how many times i had done that.
I took a deep breath to calm myself then i took her by the waist and look at her dead in the eye
"You take all you need , meet me downstairs in five minutes"
And she just nodded
"I'm serious"
"Okay" she answered scaredly
Then i went down to the study room and pick up any evindence of everything and bring it straight to my car .
Liam's POV
He shot me
He fuckin shot me that douche .
Thank God it hits my shoulder but he didn't know that , as he left me he thought i was dead.
I sprinted towards the woods
And i heard Dane screaming
I ran faster out of the woods and searching for an open road with vehicles , God Dane , he had to go to his lake house , it's a long walk to the civillians ,
After what seems of hours and hours of walking my eyes had becomes droopy probably from the blood loss from the bullet wound Dane's caused.
I held my shoulder tightly into my body wincing in pain .
My thoughts go through Alex , i felt really bad leaving her .
But i'm going to help her , i'm going to report to the police to find her , after finding out wha Dane had done to her 1 day ago it's just impossible to think she could survive another in his hands , i'm gonna save her ,
I finally saw head lights from the dark woods and i ran straight to it , not even bothered by the pain i'm feeling .
I waved my hands up towards the black audi and it stopped
It revealed a guy with a pushed back hair .
"Can i help you?" He asked concerned looking at my bleeding shoulder
"Yes please take me to the police , there's a kidnapping" i said out of breath
"I'm sorry , but i think i'm taking you to the hospital first , you're going to run out of blood , then maybe after that i'll take you to the police" he said kindly , he motioned his hands for me to step in the car .
"I'm Jean ,you?" he said looking towards the road
I didnt answer because i was so droopy i feel like losing conciousness
" answer me please , dont pass out ." He said
"Liam" i said but it comes out barely a whisper
"Liam , stay awake" he said putting his one hand on my shoulder shaking me to stay awake
"Liam." He said once again
But i'm slipping into my own darkness .
