Too Many, Too Much

Too much hate
Too many frowns
Too much anger
Too much putting down

So we fix it
We make it better
But now there's something else
That we need to settle

Too much love
Too many smiles
Too much accepting
Too much resting for a while

So we fix it
We make it better
But now there's something new
That we need to settle

Too much judgement
Too many words
Too much staring
Too much of this world

There's too much change
Too many choices
And once we chose
We still hear Too many voices

We lose lots of people
Too much crying
Too much black
And too much dying

So we aim to fix it
To make it better
But how can we
When there's too much to settle?

Too much trying
Too many aches
Too much failure
Too many debates

If we all just stop
Maybe that would help
To stand still and frozen
Maybe all would be well

Now there's too much quiet
Too much decay
Too much sitting
Too much thrown away

So we start to move
Start to help
Start to love
And start to gain wealth

But now we're stuck
We've found out again
That there's no satisfaction
In this world we live in

But we'll move on
Together and apart
We will rip each other
And play our part

Sometimes we will die
Sometimes we'll grow
But there's too many, too much
To ever really know

Do your best
Try so hard
Or maybe give up
And burn your heart

I'll be here
In the spring
Crawling high
And growing beans

So here's to us
To living here
To too much hate
And too much fear
