Chapter 26

{Ryley's POV}
I stayed with Hunter. All night.
We slept in the hospital together well, I tried to make him let me sleep on the couch but he insisted I came over with him.
I didn't want to hurt him.
It should have been me, I should have been the one to get shot.
If I ever see Jenna again I don't think I'll be able to hold myself back.
Hunter could have died.
He's my world.
He saved me.
He's my hero, my knight in shining armour❤️

The next morning I woke up to Hunter coughing.
"Omg, Hunter, Hunter" I touched his face.
"Ryley, I'm fine. Honestly" He smiled touching my hand.
" I'll go get you water Hunter, stay here" I sighed.

He's so difficult. I wish he would tell me when something was wrong.
He always thinks that just because he's my boyfriend he has to protect me and be strong all of the time.
No.
That's not what a relationship is. It's supposed to be us caring for each other and it's okay to be weak around one another when you need to be.
Gosh, I love him.
I love that boy and I'll shout it from the rooftops if I have to.

{Hunter's POV}
A few mins after Ryley left to go get me water everyone piled in the room.
"Hunter, I love you" Ashton came over and hugged me.
"Dude, I missed you. I love you bro" Brandon👌🏼
"Hunter you had me worried sick. I love you Hunter" My moms always worried😂
"My son in law" Nadine smiled spreading her arms open.
"My mother in law" I laughed and she came over and embraced me in a hug.
"Hunter, I missed you brotha" Emily laughed.
Then Hailey came over.
She hugged me so tight.
"Hunter, I thought I lost you. I lov-" She was cut off by Ryley coming in.
"Baby, I have breakfast and wat-"
Omg, BAHHAHA She just called me baby in front of everyone.
God help her😂
"I-I mean Love, no um sugar bear, um.... Hunter." She was blushing so hard.
"Ohh so it's that serious that you guys are calling each other baby " My mom Smirked.
I gestured for Ryley to come over and sit down next to me.
She came over, laid the food down and climbed under the covers. I wrapped my arm around her and she snuggled up to my chest.
Her chest is still really tender but they decided last night that as long as she takes her new prescription, it shouldn't bother her.
Turns out she didn't break anything surprisingly. The doctor made a mistake.
She already had her medicine today and she hasn't complained so that's good.

{Ryley's POV}
Kill me now😂
I called him Baby. In front of my mom.

When I snuggled up to him I felt so warm and safe.
He's my safe place.
I totally forgot that everyone was still in the room so I cuddled right up to Hunter. After a couple minutes I heard everyone go,
"Awwww.Ohhhhhh"
And I quickly pulled away which hurt my stomach a little bit but not too much since i have stitches and a bandage over it.

I honestly don't care though, they will see it for a while yet so, they will have to deal with it.
I was just about asleep, until Ashton climbed over on us and got under the blanket and snuggled up with us.

Everyone took a nap because it seems like last night no one slept very well.
Me, Hunter and Ashton slept in the hospital bed and everyone else was just spread out. The naps lasted until around noon and then everyone woke up because the nurse came in to take Hunter to do some tests.

{Ryley's POV}
Okay so, I don't know what to do with myself.
Hunter is going to be gone for the whole day because of the tests and I will be so bored.
I decided to go home for a bit with the girls so we can chat and everything.

*Arrived at Home*
Me and the girls walked into the house and immediately ran into the kitchen to get snacks.
"Sour patch kids?" I asked.
"Yup" Hailey and Emily replied.
"Hey guys, what about Pringles?" Hailey showed us sour cream and onion Pringles.
"Yaaas" I screamed.
"Chocolate?" Emily laughed.
"Is that even a question?" Hailey laughed.
"Okay and drinks?"
"Um, I'll have water" Emily stated.
"Oh, I'll have root beer" Hailey smiled.
Me? I'm just go into have orange juice.
Once we got everything upstairs we sat down to talk.
"So how's you and Brandon Em?" Hailey said while eating some Pringles.
"Oh yeah, um. Whatever we had is over" She frowned.
"What? Why?" I asked.
"He um, broke it off yesterday. He said that I wasn't "his type" whatever that means"
I chuckled.
"Sorry" I covered my mouth while Emily glared at me.
"So what about you and Blake?"
I frowned at the name. I hate Blake. He hurt Hunter.
He betrayed Hunter in more ways then one and I intend on telling Hailey.
"Oh we are good. The last week I haven't heard from him though"
I rolled my eyes, thinking no one would notice.
"What's that for?" Hailey huffed.
"Blake is a jerk. He was one of the guys that kidnapped us."
"No he didn't, you liar. You're just jealous because you can't have him" she crossed her arms.
"Why would I be jealous?!? I have Hunter and he could beat Blake any day in anything."
After I said that Hailey picked up her stuff and left the room.
For a good 5 mins it was silent but then Emily spoke up.
"I believe you"
"You do?" I smiled.
"Yeah, Blakes always been sketchy." I hugged Emily.
"Thank you Em"
"Your welcome and what about you and Hunter?"
"Well um, it's honestly so good. We have the first Rowland tour stop in 2 days. Hopefully we can go."
"Yeah, it would suck if you weren't able to. Okay so anywho, what movie?" Emily hauled out her MacBook.
"Um, go on Putlocker.com and let's watch Nerve."

Putlocker is this really awesome website that has all movies that were in any theatre, it's pretty cool.
We started to play the movie and then another one and another until it was 11.
"I loved spending time with you tonight Em. I have to go to the hospital to stay with Hunter but see you tomorrow." I hugged her goodbye and then called out to my mom.
"MOM!! YOU HAVE TO BRING ME TO THE HOSPITAL"
"YES RYLEY, I KNOW. WHY DONT YOU PICK OUT SOMETHING TO BRING TO HUNTER" She yelled back from downstairs.
I know just the thing. His phone so we can broadcast and I'll bring Dead Sea facial masks. Tonight is going to be lit.
