Ch.22 

Nikkis POV 

I rushed to the hospital. 

I saw chloe so I asked her "wats up? Wat happend" 

 "I have no idea," she replied. 

Zack came running in. "wats wrong?" he also asked. 

"I hav no idea." I replied. 

The same procces repeated with hannah n Nick.

Then dr jake walked in. "this is a pationt I want you guys to work on," he infromed us. 

"okay, where is he?" hannah asked. 

"the ambulance is on the way bringing him" he told us. 

"and wats the case?" Nick questioned. 

"a shot wound, now this is very delicate case, all of you will be assisting me." he informed us. 

I nodded. 

Then everything went mad. The doors flew open, people came rushing in. We ran the people into the ICU. 

I looked at pationt. 

I felt my heart drop to the ground. JAY! 

"crap! Zack it's jay!" I Cried. 

"dr Nikki. Knife!" he ordered. 

I was so into my thoughts, n so worried about jay I couldn't move. 

"Dr Nikki!" he yelled. 

I moved back. Towards the door.

Omg that's jay. He's hurt! He's hurt!! 

"Nikki! Concentrate!" zack yelled.

"OUT GET OUT" dr jake shouted. 

I turned round n hurried out the door.

Ugh damit! I jus couldn't do it. 

I ran to the fire excape stairs.  I sat down on the stairs n started cring. 

uhh why couldn't I do it!? 

I hate jay! But then why couldn't I do it. 

"don't worry" I heard Zack say. He came n sat down next to me. 

"how can't I!?? Jays lyn on that bed dying.. And I couldn't do anything to save him!" I argued.

"he's gonna b alright" Zack promised.

"how do I know that! How do u!?" I cried then fell into his arms. This time he hugged me back. 

Taylors POV . 

I didn't know if I should go see laura? 

I thought i should go home first, freshen up.

So I went home. I opened the door. 

"Taylor" dad said. 

"oh hi dad" I replied.

"how's u n laura going?? I mean do I stil need to spend my money?" he questioned.

"yeah!! She believes everything I say" I boasted. 

"really?.. Wat would you say If she was here?" he asked.

Wait wat! I was shocked. 

"laura," he called. "haha noo I'm jus joking" 

"wat the hell was the point for that!" I yelled angrily n stomped up to my room got freshned up then left for lauras house. 

I got to lauras house n knocked on the door. 

Alex opened it.

"where's laura?" I asked paniced.

"being sick" he replied casually.

I ran up to the toilet. 

"awe honey," I symathised. 

She turned around. "It's alright I feel better" 

She went n sat on her bed.

"taylor, I want ben n jerrys Chocolate Fudge Browny!!" she ordered.

"but laura where do I get it fr.." I tryed to say but she interupted me but screaming "chocolate fudge browny!" 

"alright, alright. Alex come with me" I ordered. 

We ran to the car n got to the shops. 

I picked up two chocolate fudge brownie boxes. We went back home. 

I handed laura the icescream. 

I sat down next to her on the bed when Kate gestured me out. 

"wars rong with her?" I asked.

"it's the food we ate today. I don't know wat the whole icescream thing was about though" she replied. "me n alex are gna go, sure you'll be okay?" 

I looked at laura. "I'll be fine" 

I went back n sat on the bed. 

She finished the icescream n was lying down. I lifted her head up so I could slide underneath her. 

We jus talked for a while. 

"soo, who was your first girlfriend?" she asked. 

"well wen I was about 12, this girl who lived down our street" I explained. 

"wat about you?" 

She quickly got up n ran to the toilet again. This time she wasn't sick. She jus did that so I couldn't know who her first boyfriend was.

Adventually she came n sat down again. 

I disided to let her pass on that question for now. 

We jus talked n talked untill the sun rose up again. 

"go to college!" laura argued. 

"know I'm not leaving u!" I replied. 

"ugh fine! If you really wanna stay that bad!" she smiled. 

"I do" I said tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. 

Nikkis POV.

"I'm sorry!" I cried.

"No! Dr Black, sorry isn't good enough. That pationt COULD HAVE DIED!" Dr jake yelled slaming is hand on the leather chair that was placed behind the desk.

"I know, I'm sorry, it won't happen again it's jus that jay.." then I stopped. Oh shoot! 

"jay? Did you know the pationt?" Dr jake asked. 

I turned around while a tear dropped down my check. 

"DR BLACK, DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT KNOW THE PATIONT!?" he yelled.

I turned back around. "Fine! Yes I do! I hate him! I hate him I hate hi.." I cried. I couldn't finish my sentence. Because I don't hate him. As hard as I tryd. 

"So right, I'm jus sayn this hypatheticly, I hated you, n then you got shot, do you think I should jus leave you!? How the hell could you have jus left a pationt dying!?" he roared. 

"Thats Not Fair!" I heard Zack say.

Uh shoot Zack. 

"Zack please don't" I begged.

"No Nikki! You don't deserve that! 

Dr Jake needs to know the whole story!" he argued. 

Zack explaned the whole story. With me siting on the seat crying silently.

"oh ermm Dr Nikki, I'm sorry about what happend but it still dusnt mean u jus leave him to die" he said.
