I walk towards my school, on a warm May Day. Only 2 more weeks, until freedom. Also known as summer vacation!

"Aphmau!" I hear some one say behind me.

I turn around and see Garroth running up to me, his blond hair going all over the place.

"Hey, Garroth!" I smile and wave.

Out of breath he walks beside me. "H-hi..."

I laugh at his appearance. "You look so exsausted."

He glared at me, "No kidding. Running is tiering"

I sighed. Then I remembered about the challenge me and my secret admirer made. I should ask all the boys I wrote on my list if they have ever sent a secret letter.

I put Garroth on the list, because it could be a possibility. But I highly doubt that he is the secret admirer.

But it's worth a shot asking, right?

"Hey Garroth. Random question but have you ever sent a love letter to anyone in your life?" I ask while smiling.

His face immediately changes.

"W-What kind of question is that?" He demands with uncertainty in his voice.

I laugh. "I just wanted to know. That's why I said before asking, 'Random Question'"

He sighs. "No and I would never. Love letters are stupid."

For some reason a weird feeling comes over me. Is it as if I wanted the secret admirer to be Garroth? No no, no way.

"Okay. Thanks. Do you mind asking Laurance the same question?"

He gives me a confused look. "I don't think you should be going around asking questions like that. It's weird"

I give him a nervous look. How weird is that question? What about the saying, "It won't hurt to ask?"

"It won't hurt to ask won't it?" I say with some hope in my voice.

He just shakes his head. "You do it then. If your so passionate about it"

"Remember the deal?~" I coo while poking his shoulder.

He sighs. "The deal was to tell you about Laurance. Not for me to be your slave. I'll see you later Aphmau"

He walks in front of me with an annoyed expression on his face.

'Not to be your slave'

Did I treat him as a slave?

Guilt swarms around me. Before he comes out of my view I yell at him,

"I'm sorry!"

But he didn't stop walking.

He didn't turn back.

Just kept on going.

All day, it's been bothering me, our fight. I didn't know wether to classyfly it as a fight, but I will for now.

Is it because I may of lost all my hopes on knowing about Laurance?

Or is it because I don't want to fight with Garroth?

UGH, I'm so confused...

Once lunch hits around, I head up to the roof top, after all that's where he would probably be.

I want to apologize, to him.

As I walk up the steps I hear a familiar voice call out behind me.

"Hey Aphmau! Those stairs are off limits, where are you going?"

I spin around and to my surprise I see.., Laurance?!

I feel a blush grow on my cheeks as I nervously back away. "H-huh, Laurance?"

He laughs. "Are you a rebel Aphmau? Kinda cute"

"T-thank me, I mean y-you!" I stammer.

"Hum, wanna eat lunch with me? I would love a cute girl to talk to at lunch" he smiles while winking.

Is he serious?

I pause. Should I go? Maybe I should apologize to Garroth...

I stake my head, this is a once in a life-time decision!

I can apologize to Garroth later.

"Sure!" I squeak.

He waves me to follow him, "Wonderful!"

I walk behind him, laughing, smiling.

Something feels off, but I ignore it.

After all, this is a once in a life-time decision!

He stood, at the top of the stairs.

Watching as his best friend walks away with her.

Aphmau.

He laughs, a dry laugh.

"I knew it"

"I knew that she liked him. I knew that she just used me to get to him."

In his hand, was her letter. The one sent to the 'secret admirer'.

"I know that if she figures out that it's me, she won't return my feelings. But at least I can still talk to her...
