"You can't be comfy sitting over there on that hard chair."  Sam said sitting on the motel bed as you two watched TV. Dean was out at a bar probably getting drunk leaving just you and Sam to your discomfort.

The problem wasn't that you didn't like Sam is was that you liked him too much. For months now you started to fall for the tall shaggy haired boy, but you couldn't act on your feelings, so you resided to staying your distance from him in hopes the feelings would go away.

"I'm fine over here." You said shifting in the hard chair.

Sam got up and grabbed your hand and pulled you up until you were over at his bed and he pushed you down. "Sam," You complained as he sat down next to you and pulled you close to him. You're heart started pounding in your chest. "It's too hot for this." You lied.

"I don't think it's hot enough." He brought his face down near your neck and you felt his breath on your neck sending chills down your spine. His lips started trailing along your skin as if he was teasing you.

You wanted to fight it, to pull it away, but your body wouldn't move, instead you shut your eyes. Finally, he pressed his lips against your skin and kissed it making a groan erupt from your mouth, which you instantly regretted, but Sam just gave a low laugh, and kept doing it until his lips had trailed all the way up to your lips, but just as he was about to kiss them you pushed him away.

"No," You said panting and shaking.

"What's wrong, I know you want it, I see it in your eyes." He said his eyes showing lust.

"This isn't you." You said, and that's when it hit you. "This isn't you." You repeated, only meaning something different. As quick as lightning you grabbed the holy water that was by the bedside and threw it on Sam, and it instantly started sizzling and he yelled.

You stood up and grabbed your bag and pulled out something from the bottom and you threw it on the floor as Sam stood up and started to walk towards you, he stopped and looked down confused.

The thing you had thrown on the floor was a piece of cloth that you had painted a demon's trap on for emergency's like this. "Smart," The demon inside Sam hissed. "Smart, beautiful, brave, kind, and ambitious. You're everything, but yet Sam still doesn't love you. Not in the way you want him too."

You started to recite the exorcism chant, but demon Sam kept interrupting. "He only see's you as a sister, you know that. I can look into his mind, and see everything."

You kept saying the chant. "But you know what the real kicker is?" You stopped. "He knows you like him, but he doesn't care. In fact him and Dean talk about it, and laugh."

"You lie." You hissed as you fought back tears.

"I may be a demon, but I am truthful, especially if the truth hurts more than a lie." He snickered. "So go ahead, exorcise me, but I did the damage I meant to do."

Your lips quivered, but with a deep intake of breath you finished the chant. The black smoke expelled itself from Sam's body and Sam fell to the floor. You rushed to his side and saw he was okay, and with all your strength you moved him to the bed and laid him down.

You watched him lay there peacefully, and tears prickled your eyes, but you knew what you had to do. Finding a piece of paper, you wrote Sam and Dean a note, and then left it on the nightstand. Your bag was already packed, and throwing it over your shoulder you left the motel room.

You spent the night walking down the side of the road. Most girls would be freaking out walking on a deserted road at night, but being a fully trained hunter that could take down a full grown man blind folded, you weren't too scared.

As morning came, your feet started to hurt, but you trudged on. A few cars passed by you, but none offered to take you anywhere, which was fine with you since you welcomed the pain in your feet.

However, you soon heard the familiar sound of a '67 Chevy Impala, it approached you, and pulled off to the side of the road in front of you,  but you continued walking right passed the car before whoever was driving could get out.

"Y/N!" You heard Sam yell after you. "Y/N will you stop!"

"I thought the note was pretty clear, Sam." You replied back not looking around with the fear that if you looked into his puppy eyes that you would run into his arms.

"No, it was far from clear!" The hints of anger in his voice made you flinch. "Will you look at me!" He grabbed your arm spinning you around making you face him, but you refused to meet his gaze.

"Let me go Sam." You whispered.

"Not until you tell me why you're leaving."

"I told you why in the note, besides you know why, I thought I would make it a lot less awkward for us if I just left." You sighed.

"There's not even going to be a conversation about this?" Sam asked.

"We already had this conversation, don't you remember? When you were demon."

"Yeah, but I was a demon! That wasn't me!" He said making you look up at his face.

"But the demon was inside of you, he read your mind." You said your eyes flashing with emotion. "That demon made me look like a fool. I bared my soul to you, and he showed me what you truly think. I don't think I can stay in the same room as you anymore without feeling like a total loser."

"What makes you think the demon was telling the truth?" He asked.

"Because I know you could never love me the way I want you too. I mean look at me compared to you. I'm nothing!" Tears filled your eyes, and went to turn your face away, but Sam held your face in place.

"You would believe a demon over everything Dean and I have ever said to you. We love you. I love you, and that means you can't leave. I won't let you." He pulled you into a hug holding you tight to him, and it took all the energy in your body not to hold him back.

"Not the way I love you. So that means things will never be the same."

"Please," Sam said holding you tighter. "I know I don't love you the way you want me too, but that doesn't mean I could live without you."

You pushed back and stared into Sam's broken eyes. "So what? You think things are going to go back to normal? Are we going to pretend this didn't happen? Because I can't." Your voice was harsh. "I'm sorry, Sam." You turned away, and as you did another car pulled up to you who had your finger out.

The car stopped beside you and you saw a little old lady. "Do you need a ride, sweetheart?" She asked as you nodded. "Any place special you need to go?"

"Anywhere," You said walking around the car to the passenger door. As soon as you opened up the door you looked up to see Sam standing there looking devastated, and it broke your heart seeing him that way, but you knew it was for the best. "Goodbye Sammy."
