Your pov
I open my eyes slowly, not wanting to actually wake up. I sit up yawning loudly.
Fuck I'm tired I think to myself.
I grab my phone, checking my notifications. I see that Louise texted me 10 minutes ago.
hey love, I know you've been having a hard time for the past few weeks. I'm coming over in about an hour with a few little surprises to cheer you up! See you soon <3
I smiled. Of course she wants to cheer me up, she always wants the best for everyone.
I rolled out of bed and started getting ready. I showered, brushed my teeth and hair, got dressed, put on the slightest bit of makeup, and even managed to clean up a little within an hour, damn.
The sound of a car pulling in made me smile once again. A minute later there was a knock on the door, I ran to answer it. I opened the door to see the Louise standing there with a bag on one arm and Darcy on the other, both of them smiling brightly.
"Oh my goodness, look at this little cutie!" I said hugging Darcy
"Where's my hug?" Louise laughed
I smiled and pulled her into a heartwarming hug.
"I'm already feeling better, thanks so much for coming." I whispered
She flashed me a smile before ushering Darcy and I inside, eager to have fun.
We all sat in the lounge while Louise pulled out the contents of her bag. She pulled out 4 DVDs, cupcakes, and 2 small tubs of ice cream.
She got up and put on The Nightmare Before Christmas™ while I talked to Darcy.
"How have you been? It's been a while since I've seen you." I said softly
She started talking about how she was liking school and other exciting child things, I smiled at her.
We spent that whole afternoon watching films and eating.
A few hours later.
Darcy had fallen asleep half way through some movie I can't remember. Louise noticed and turned it off.
"Let's have a chat, talk about life and such." she suggested
"Alright, how've you been lately?" I asked
"I've been alright, but I wanna know who you're feeling love, you've been pretty down lately, do you wanna talk about it?" she said with concern in her voice
I sighed.
"Okay."
I told her everything, and I mean everything. She smiled when I told her about how Dodie and I got together, but that smile quickly faded when I told her about my 'mental breakdown'.
"Y/N, it's obvious that Dodie loves you. I know you might not fully understand how much she loves you, but I think you should talk to her, because I know you love her too."
I nodded, she's right.
"Okay, I'll call her tomorrow."
The blonde smiled and nodded. She looked down at her phone and gasped.
"It's already 10 o'clock, I should really be getting home, I don't want to be driving too late." She sighed
"Oh, well why don't you stay here tonight? You left your pyjamas here last time you slept over."
Her face brightened up
"Yeah I did! Of course, I'd love too. Wait, I've got a little toothbrush in my bag but I haven't brought one for Darcy."
"Oh don't worry about that, I've got a few unopened ones in the bathroom for when guests come over." I explain
"Perfect!"
Louise carefully picked up Darcy and brought her to the guest room. I set up another film and got some wine. We watched some movies, drank some wine, and made some horrible jokes till 2 am.
3 am
A loud buzzing coming from my phone woke me. I reached over and grabbed it before even opening my eyes. Once my eyes adjusted to the bright light I saw the word 'Babe💗' pop up on my screen.
why is Dodie calling me at 3am?
I quickly answered
"Dodie it's 3 in the morning love, what are you doing?" I asked confused
"Listen, babe, I miss you, a lot, and I love you, a lot. And I really wanna talk to you, like in person and shit. Can we do that?" she asked somewhat enthusiastically
I let out a sigh. I have to tell her at some point.
"Yeah, I think I owe that to you, I love you too and I'm sorry. Could I come over at 12 ish tomorrow?" I answered in a soft voice
"Uh, yeah, yeah of course you can, um, I'll see you then I guess. Bye." Dodie said a little surprised
"Alright, love you, goodnight" I said just above a whisper before hanging up, trying my best not to wake Louise.
I guess this had to happen sooner or later.
