Zoe

I'm running down the road to my home. Lee runs after me, I don't care, I need to help.

I'm Twenty feet from the broken gate.

Fifteen. I get my gun ready.

Ten. Something grabs my wrist and pulls me away from the chaos. I'm pulled into an abandoned convenience store that has been picked bone dry by scavengers. I don't need to turn around to know who has forced me to sit on the sidelines. It's probably Lee. "Would you just leave me alone!"

"Woah, chill Zoey." Says a man's voice

I don't recognize this voice. This is not Lee

I turn around to see who grabbed me. The person is wearing a sweatshirt with the hood coming down to his eyes. He is tall and slender, and pale, like a ghost. He wears a dark, twisted, smile, I try to see the rest of his face which is covered in the shadow of his hood. I do see one thing clearly though, a lock of wavy, black hair.

Zedrick.
