What could this mean? A USED knife sitting in a drawer with other knives. In a reception desk of the clinical ward in a hospital no less.
"Let's just put that back and get away from here. I'm getting really bad vibes." Rose says; obviously concerned for Momo and maybe even a little scared herself. They all walk quickly away.
I follow the group of girls and Momo down the hallway, listening in on their quiet conversation.
"So, do you think Kiri doesn't know about the doors? Or does she just not care..." Rin whispers, probably a little too loudly, to Sage.
"Maybe she is in on whatever this is. Should we trust her?"
I frown uncomfortably at the sound of them talking about me. It's as if I'm not even here.
"Nonsense. She is a sweet girl, I'm sure she is in the same situation as us. She will probably figure out that all the doors and exits are locked and panic just as we did." Rose gestures to end the conversation and turns to me.
"So, Kirisame: what happened when you arrived here at this hospital?"
"Well, I came to the clinic lobby to attend the appointment for new students; but something was really odd about the whole experience."
"What as odd about it?" Momo asks.
I picture the moment in my mind.
"The lights seemed to get dimmer and dimmer, and when we arrived at the desk there were no employees or even people there. My mother rang the bell several times and called out. Then-"
"That's how it was for me as well. Except the lights completely cut off for me." Sage interrupts me with a small chuckle.
"Yeah, same."
I finish explaining the rest of what happened to them and they all nod and agree.
"I came here with a friend of mine, and he is also here. We were both supposed to be enrolled." Momo murmurs.
"Oh that's interesting, where is your friend now?"
"Um...he's-he isn't here."
"That sucks, it would be nice to have a friend in this place. I myself am already missing some of my friends." Rin yawns, and ducks into the room labeled "women's bathroom." Sage follows and so does Rose.
Momo waves to me and goes inside the men's room across the hall.
Standing alone in the hallway gives me an odd feeling of familiarity and I soon realize that I'm alone here. My friends are not with me. My mother is gone, and so is my brother.
Even with these strangers here; I am fending for myself. Just like in everyday life.

I wander back down the hallway to the lobby. I need to step out into the parking lot and take a deep, fresh breath of air. I need to be away from this place for a moment, and then come in and find out what the hell is going on.
In the lobby there is a large set of double doors leading to the exit; I remember it well.
I approach them, admiring the sleek brown wood and shove hard against the metal.
The doors do not budge.
Bewildered, I push once more. I jiggle the handle slightly. Nothing happens. Is this what Rose and the others were talking about referring to doors?
Maybe it's just broken or something. I can't imagine why we would all be locked inside.
As I look around the lobby I notice something else strange.
All the windows have the same picture perfect sunlight scene on them, but no light shines in.
It's like a simple window painting was put on each window individually.
"Who would do something like this?" I mumble to myself.
"It was that woman." A male voice comes from behind me.
I turn to see two boys, one is very tall and thin with light brown hair and two different colored eyes. Pretty handsome I'd even say. And beside him is a fragile looking boy with long lavender hair and for some reason wearing gloves.
"Hello..." I say awkwardly, shifting away from the window just in case. I know what sometimes happens when a young female is cornered by two men when no one else is around.
"That woman over the intercom has done this. She locked us in here and won't tell us what's happening. This isn't just some regular checkup! It's a t-trap." The guy rambles on and on, talking a little bit too fast for me to completely comprehend.
"Would you chill out Ty? Seriously." The muscular boy gently shoves him.
"I am telling the truth! I bet....I bet that woman over the intercom is gonna do something aw-awful to us. We were kidnapped when we got here!"
"You're gonna scare her. Stop." The tall man sticks out his hand.
"My name is Akiho..."
I shake his hand; admittedly a little bit starstruck and reply with my name.
"Cute-"
"I'm Ty, I'm good at playing guitar. That's all you need to know. For all we are aware of; you're probably in on it with that woman."
"I'm not..."
I feel a little attacked by everyone. Why do people think I'm in on whatever this whole thing is.
"If you say so." The wary boy turns heel and stumbles away from me; his eyes darting all around him nervously. The tall muscular boy gives a casual wave to me and follows him.
"COME ON AKIHO! WHAT ARE Y-YOU DOING!?" The boy gestures rapidly for him to follow faster.
"I'm coming."
There sure are a lot of strange people in here. But maybe that's the goal? To have all these different personalities in one place. Ripe for harvesting.

After awhile of looking around the clinic ward in the hospital, I discovered a lot of the same bland answer.
All windows were locked and covered with the same painting.
Any doors other than bathrooms and the rooms where we were assigned are also locked.I enter my room and make sure the door is locked, and sprawl across the mattress. I still don't know what is going on; but I do know that I'm locked inside a hospital, and the only other people here were supposed to be enrolled at the school with me.
Shortly after I relax there, Lilianna announces for everyone to go to their assigned rooms. After a few minutes she makes another announcement. One that chills me to the core.
