Ch. 7

I wonder who Beast Boy found for my date. I mean.. I doubt I'll like them but still. I wonder what he thinks my taste are. I wonder what he thinks of me.

Not that he thinks of me I mean. Oh just gosh. Back to choosing an outfit Raven come on.

Woah. I just realized I probably talk to myself much to much to be sane.

I Close my eyes. In the nose, out the mouth-I breathe.
The air is a sharp cool spice. It burns my nose as I inhale.
It is definitely autumn.
Not that you couldn't tell from the piles of cruchable leaves which litter the ground.

Such a nice day. Maybe this date won't be too horrid.

Why in the world have I not got to talk to my emotions yet.
Gosh darn I'm worried about so many things I haven't even ridden myself of that virus which continues to infect my thoughts with offhand comments.

I sense my fitted quarter length blouse shift from a mysterious navy to annoyed sky blue.
I hope this color suits me alright, I seem to alwaus wear it around a certain green dwarf.

Wait. I don't care if it suits me because it is just Beast Boy.
My gosh what is with my thoughts today. I need to pull myself together.

"Ven" I replied automatically, cutting him off.

"-are you ready for your date?"

"Yeah, sure. Yours will be here soon by the way. When is my date going to be here?"

"He already is silly."

I look around. The park is completely empty. Well. Almost. There is of course-me and Beast Boy.

"Wait, what do you mean? No one is here but..."

Realization dawned on me as I trail off.
He is here.
The only one here is Beast Boy.
We never had restrictions on who the dates could be.
Damn it. I should have seen this horrid joke coming. Of course he would play with me like this. Oh Azar.

This keeps getting better and better. Elise is here now and expecting a normal double date. Not a share your date date.

With a sharp toothed grin he met my eyes with his own.
"Is everything okay Rae? You're not afraid of your date are you?"

"Who exactly is my date Beast Boy?"

"I am" he smugly confirmed my fears.

"What do we do about-"

"Hey I'm Elise, I'm here for our date"

And once again I am cut off

"I'm sorry hun but I'm just not available. Maybe we can hangout another time."
Why is Beast Boy doing this.
My gosh.

"Oh. I understand."
Her eyes flicked from me to Beast Boy and back.

"You lose by the way Rae."

I turn confused, what?

"I didn't like my date what was her name? Elise? Anyways you have to do my laundry for two weeks. Now lets have our date shall we."

I am surprised to say the least.
My cloak is a suspicious purple. I wish this cloak would stop showing my feelings. Have I no privacy?

Whats worse I now have a date with Grass Stain over there.
