Ambiguous

"Impediments must disappear."

The shadows of his steps drew closer
and so did his voice.

"Come along now. We've lost enough time
already." He continued, grabbing my arm and
pulling me up, towards him.

Taken by surprise,
I stumbled and my face collided
with his chest.

Ba thump-

Behind his rib-cage,
his heart resounded.

Ba thump-

Behind its prison made of flesh,
my heart resounded.

Slowly, his fingers pushed my head
closer to his chest, burying it deep into
marvelous black.

Bit by bit,
distant echoes from the past
came back to me.

And with the battling of an eye,
a thousand brilliant white wings
enveloped us both, transporting us

          to a different world.
