Four letters,
L-O-V-E
Define all of humanity.
Love leads to pride and vanity,
Vanity leads to hate and insanity.
Love leads to life,
Life means death,
So love also leads to sadness,
And sobbing breaths.
Without love,
We wouldn't feel anything at all.
We wouldn't love ourselves enough,
For feelings big or small.
We wouldn't laugh,
We wouldn't cry,
We would hate,
And curiosity wouldn't leave us wondering why
So maybe instead of looking for love,
We should first find,
The right kind.
The love for another,
The love for each other,
Not a love for yourself,
Because that love will soon become a lie.
A lie that hides the fact,
That love is truly blind.
And it can easily become,
A kind of love that's a crime.
