The World I Live In

We are Poetry

Poetry speaks less,
But says oh so much more.
Messages from the heart,
Too short and sweet to be noticed,
But so loudly heard,
In our own lives.
Poetry is a rhyme you'd know,
Even if you've never read it,
Because we've seen it,
We've felt it,
We are it.
We are poetry,
And so poetry,
Is nothing,
But reading your own thoughts,
Put into words,
You didn't know you had.
