I yawned before I put my phone in my winter coat's pocket.
I look around inside this coffee shop. Everybody is drinking a hot coffee.
Well, I just finished drinking my favorite capuccino.
In the Philippines, it is my summer vacation. But here in New York, it's not.
I am just tired of doing a single thing. I wanna rest.
I stand up and decided to leave. My time is running and I don't need to waste it even the single minute.
I am walking proudly, enough for me to stand in front of many people.
I stopped exactly in the open door of the coffee shop. The guard said his thank you.
I just cock my head on him. I am not fund of talking too much.
I step outside and stock in the doorway. I look at the surrounding.
Snow is everywhere. Winter is really real. The snow continued to fall.
I put both of my hands in my coat's pocket. I already had the gloves but it is not enough to void the coldness that I am feeling right now.
I stared in the line on the road. Malapit na itong matabunan ng snow at sa kabilang dulo nito makikita ang waiting shed.
Tumingin ako sa langit na hindi matigil sa pagbagsak ng mga snow.
It is a right time to be dramatic. The atmosphere is too cold.
I saw on my peripheral vision that someone stand beside me. I didn't bother to look at him, I am too busy checking the falling snow.
"You're sad."
I am distracted from the sudden noise.
Tinignan ko ang lalaking katabi ko bago lumingon sa paligid.
Tutok ang paningin ng lalaki sa pagpatak ng snow.
Walang ibang tao kaya sigurado akong sya ang nagsalita.
"You're sad."
The man is now looking at me. He's handsome. He had this weird smile.
"Uh. Excuse me? Are you talking to me?"-I asked
His smile goes wide.
"Why don't you cross the road?"-he asked back ignoring my question.
I glance at the road and look at him again.
Bagamat hindi ko sya kilala, pinili ko pa ring sagutin ang kanyang tanong.
"I don't know how to cross it."-I replied which receives a soft chuckle from him.
"Too innocent, forever."-he said with a smile.
Kapansin pansin ang ngiti nyang hindi maalis alis sa kanyang labi na nakadagdag sa kanyang kagwapuhan.
Nagulat ako ng umakbay sya sakin.
"I will be your knight in shining armor miss little innocent."-he whispered that sent shiever to me.
"You will be my forever."-he whispered again and run to the road with me.
I feel my heart skip a beat because of what he said.
