chapter 30: "your joking right"

Freddy's POV

The last time Tomika was like this she went into a coma for a month and her left lung collapsed because she put to much pressure on it by trying to wake up. I hope she is ok. Right now I am in the hospital waiting for doc to come back in. Just then doc walks back through the door

Freddy: how is she Doc

Doctor Martin: how do I put this, Freddy she's gone into a coma again.

Freddy: what, no no please say it's a mistake

Doctor Martin: no, it's not a joke Freddy, she's gone into a coma.

Freddy: Thanks Doc can I go and see her

Doctor Martin: of coarse Freddy

I go into Tomika's room to find her lifeless body on the hospital bed, I couldn't keep the tears in I just broke down and cried. Once I had calmed myself down I texted summer

ON TEXT

Freddy: Summer she's gone into a coma

Summer: what, when will she wake up

Freddy: I'll see you tomorrow summer

Summer: your not coming back it's only lunch

Freddy: no I'm just going to go home, you guys can come over if you want after school, I'll tell Arnold to come an pick you up after school

Summer: Freddy, we'll come over after school but we will take Mr Finns Van ok

Freddy: ok

Summer's POV

Freddy has just texted me telling me about Tomika I couldn't help but cry. What got me thinking is that is she going to be ok?

Zack: Summer are you ok, your crying

Summer: Guys Tomika's in a coma

Zack, Lawrence and Mr Finn: what when will she wake up

Summer: I don't know Freddy dodged my question when I asked him

Lawrence: I'm sure she's fine, she is a strong girl and she can get through this

Mr Finn: your right Lawrence, is Freddy coming back

Summer: no he has gone home, and he asked for us to go after school and we need to take Mr Finns van.

Zack: why

Summer: guys we don't want to make it seem that we are taking advantage of Freddy and Tomika, especially when Tomika is in a coma.

Zack, Lawrence and Mr Finn: yeah your right

TIME SKIP TO AFTER SCHOOL

I knock on the front door the Freddy and Tomika's house and Danny opens the door

Danny: hi guys, I'm sorry to hear about Tomika, Freddy's up in his room you guys can come in and go up

Zack, Lawrence, Summer and Mr Finn: ok, thanks Danny

me, Zack, Lawrence and Mr Finn make our way up to Freddy and Tomika's room and we see Freddy curled up in a ball on the floor crying next to Tomika's bed

Summer: Freddy are you ok

Freddy: (shakes his head)

Zack: why so quiet Freddy?

Freddy: (looks down not saying a word)

Lawrence: guys somethings wrong with Freddy. Freddy what aren't you telling us

Freddy then gets out his phone and he looks like he is texting someone

~Summer Tomika's not going to wake up form the coma - Freddy~

~If she wakes up she will die - Freddy~

Summer: WHAT

Zack: what did he say

Summer: he said that Tomika isn't going to wake up from the coma and if she does she will die

Zack: your joking right

Freddy: (shakes his head)

Zack: wait why would she die

~Summer Tomika's left lung collapsed 5 years ago and it happened like it has now, she went into a coma and put too much pressure on her lungs and the left one collapsed - Freddy~

Summer: what do you mean her left lung collapsed 5 years ago

Zack: wait what

Summer: that's the thing Freddy just texted me

Mr Finn: so is that why if she wakes up she'll die Freddy?

Freddy: (nods his head)

Lawrence: what I don't get is why your not talking Freddy?

Danny: guys, he's always like this when Tomika has to stay over night at the hospital

Summer: woah, I'm used to him talking and now he's silent

Zack: Danny how long does this normal last
