Blaine's POV
~
"Hey." Dad said as he walked into the hospital room. "How're you feeling?"

"Fine. Besides the fact that every single nurse comes in here 15 times in one hour." I said, a bit agitated.

"They're just doing their job." He said as he walked over and sat in the seat Kurt is usually in. "Where did he go?"

"I told him to go get some food, he hadn't moved since I woke up." I responded.

"He hasn't moved since you got out of surgery." Dad laughed.

"Of course not..." I smiled.

"So.. I called your mom." Dad said, my eyes darted over to him.

"You what?!" I spat.

"Well I just thought you'd want to see her. Talk to-" I cut him off.

"No, you're right. I would love to see her. It's just that she doesn't want to SEE ME! You KNOW that! Why would you tell her to come!? Are you crazy?!" I yelled.

"Everything okay here?" Kurt asked as he walked in, a tray of food in his hands.
I looked over at Dad. "Get her name off the visiting list."

"I'm not gonna do that, Blaine." He whispered.

"Get out then. Until her name is off the list, I'm not seeing you either."

"Blaine?" Kurt said softly.

"Blaine. I can't do that because she's already here. She's already signed in to see you."

"This is going to go bad. You know that.  Or do you just not care? Why is she even here?!"

"I wanted to see my boy." Everyone turned toward the entrance to see a women walk in.

"I should go..." Kurt said.

"No. Stay. Dad, leave."

"Blaine-" He started to say.

"Dad. Go."  I hissed.

Kurt walked over to the chair next to me as my mother awkwardly stood in the middle of the room.

"Kurt, this is my mom. Mom, this is Kurt."
Kurt jumped up from his seat and extended his arm. "It's so nice to meet you Mrs. Anderson!" He said with a smile.
She nodded as he took his hand. "How do you know Blaine?" She slowly eyed him up and down, taking a step back.

"Oh, right, I'm his-"

"Teacher. He was my sign language teacher." Kurt gave me a side glance, and then plastered a smile back on his face.
"Exactly!"

"And you are here, why?"

"I like to see how my students do after a surgery. Is that a problem?" Kurt crossed his arms.

"Not at all." She glared.

"So Blaine. Got a gir-"

"My surgery went well, mother. Thanks for asking. I can hear you perfectly now, although, I'd rather not hear the same questions you've been asking me since I was 13. Thank you."

"I'll take that as I no then." She said, looking around the room.

Kurt's POV
~
I looked over at Blaine with a questioning look, he shook his head in response as to say 'don't even ask'.

"You're ridiculous Blaine. I hope you know that." She laughed.

"You've been telling me that for years, Mother." Blaine rolled his eyes.

"I'm sorry, why is he ridiculous?" I questioned.

"Oh, surely that's why you're here. He told you he was gay and you believed him. It's just an act. He does it just to anger me. I'm sorry he dragged you into this nonsense." She smirked.

"I.. I'm sorry? You believe your son being gay is an "act" because he wants to anger you?" I asked, trying to figure out this woman.

"Yes. He's not actually gay." She said as if it were obvious.

"You're in denial, Mrs. Anderson."

"No, I just know my son better than he knows himself."

"Kurt, don't" Blaine said, thinking I wasn't going to help.

"Well, if Blaine's not gay, then..." I turned towards Blaine and smacked my lips against his. At first he was tense, but he soon relaxed and moved his hand to my cheek. I pulled away and saw a smile that matched mine on Blaine's face.
I turned towards Mrs. Anderson and was greeted with a shocked face. She stood up and huffed as she walked out of the room.
I turned back towards Blaine.

"Kurt. Why the hell did you do that?!" He screamed, causing me to jump.
