Hazel

Today is my first day at work which is gonna be a bit confusing for me, I don't exactly know where every single book is in that libary.

I grab my car keys before taking one last look in the mirror, I kinda feel good today. Hopefully everything goes great today and I don't end up embarrassing myself as usual.

I walk out to the driveway where my car is and freeze when I see a paper on my car. I grab the paper immediately before going inside my car.

"Ignore me all you want, That's not gonna stop me from getting what I want and that's you."

I reread it one last time before crumbling it up and tossing it on my car floor, This is getting ridiculous who ever keeps sending me these and I know exactly who it is.

Last night Harry kept texting me about him taking me out and I refused him by blocking his number, I'm glad I did that because I have an extremely bad feeling about him. I honestly don't know why he's after me, All I'm trying to do is live my life with no drama.

I drove straight to the bookstore parking my car in the mini parking lot along with the rest of the cars. I grab my phone and purse before climbing out of my car.

I rush inside because if the feeling of being watched, If he's watching me then there is gonna be big drama that's gonna happen. I'm probably just getting hyped for no reason. I shouldn't blame Harry for every creepy thing that happens to me.

"Hazel, you made it!" I hear Anne squeal. We greet each other with a tight hug, Anne always hugs me for no reason. She says she's a hugger but it's kinda awkward when someone hugs you every 10 minutes too.

"My son said he's seen you around, I think he has a crush on you." She says nudging my shoulder. I let out a laugh awkwardly, she brings up her son a lot.. Every conversation involves her son.

"Really? what's his name, maybe I know him!" I say giving her a light smile as I take a seat beside her, She instantly tenses when I ask her that making my thoughts turn confused.

"Uh.. Tommy?" She says more like a question, Maybe she's just exhausted from working all day. I can't blame her because she works solo.

"Is he your only kid?" I say as she slowly stands up carrying books in her hand to a small cart. Her eyes light up from the question I asked her.

"No, I have a daughter named Gemma." She says in a happy tone making me smile, That's weird because I had a friend back in New York with the name Gemma. I'm sure she's not the same Gemma though.

"That's nice!" I say to her, her smile slowly drop but instantly spreads on her face again, She sets the books down turning to face me again.

That was a bit weird.

"Hey, tomorrow night you should come over and have dinner with the family!" She ask smiling at me making me feel uneasy, She is my boss so I might as well but her smile isn't the same like it usually is, I nod my head anyway. She smirks a bit before changing the subject and giving me a preview of how I should work and where to correctly put the books.
