Chapter 13

"Detective can you hear me?"
"Detective"
"Can you hear me"
It sounded like echoes, far away.
All of the sudden it was like an instant pang of pain on my side.
I shot my eyes open and took a deep breath in.
I screamed out in pain holding my side.
"Okay, you need to calm down" the doctor said to me, but I couldn't.
It was too much.
"Give her a sedative! It's too much" I heard another say.
They put an oxygen mask over my face and put a needle in my arm.
I turned my head and saw Olivia standing there, and I think nick?
But I couldn't tell, they put me under and I was out.

I opened my eyes slowly and groaned a little.
"Hey, you're awake" someone said.
I looked to my right and Amanda was sitting there.
"Yeah?" I said looking around.
"How you feeling" she asked smiling a little.
"Like I got hit by a truck" I joked.
She laughed a little.
"I'm glad you're okay" she said putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah, me too" I said quietly.
"I'm gonna get the others" she said getting up.
"Wait Amanda..." she turned and looked at me.
"I-I'm sorry for the way I was treating you guys there was-"
"Hey, listen... it's not your fault, I understand. We're just glad you're okay" she said.
"I mean I was kinda a bitch" I said.
"Kinda?" she said joked.
"No, okay I was a total bitch... I'm sorry" I laughed.
"Don't worry about it, you're not so bad" she smiled and walked out.
About 5 minutes later they all came in.
There was someone standing there, I couldn't see who it was. They were in the way.
"Hey, how're you feeling" Olivia said.
"Fantastic" I said smiling.
"There's someone who wants to talk to you" nick interrupted, he had a smile on his face.
And so did the others.
"What?" I was so confused.
He walks towards me and I couldn't believe it.
It was him.
