Chapter 10,gender and baby shopping

A few weeks had passed of the girls , Mona , Caleb, toby and Ezra trying to find Yvonne but they had no luck , spencer had spoken to her mom and dad she hadn't seen them in months because they were living in New York  ,alison noticed that her stomach was growing and went back to the doctor who told her that when she was pregnant before she must have been having twins because she was 4 months along and it looked like one of the baby's had survived ,
Today was Spencer's 6 month scan and after it to take their minds off Yvonne they were going to go shopping for all their baby's stuff with the girls , in 2 days they were going on their vacation to Paris (it was the present that toby gave her for Christmas )
At the doctors office:
" so shall we keep it a surprise or not " spencer says happily looking down at her big bump
" I really don't know it's up to you spence I'm happy with whatever you pick as long as we have our little one that's all I'm bothered about" he says smiling placing a hand on her belly

Spencer and toby walk into the room and spencer lies on the bed
" I'm Dr steinfeld , but you can call me jade  , so how are we feeling today " the doctor asks
" very well thank you , very bloated though " spencer says laughing
The doctor laughs back and says " well that just means your baby's growing , is it your first " she says looking over at toby
" yes it's our first it was a very special surprise " toby says
" aww was it , I remember when I had my daughter , she's 2 now , I told my husband on our anniversary " the doctor says setting the machine up
" aww that's nice , I surprised toby on Christmas Day with the scan photo " spencer says
" aww that's lovely too the , so just a reminder the gel is very cold " the Doctor says
Spencer nods and looks at the screen
" so the baby's got a strong heartbeat and looks very healthy , would you like to know the gender " the doctor says
" we really aren't sure what to do , in a way we want to know then we can get all the things ready and in another way we want to be surprised when it's born " spencer says looking at toby
" well how about I turn the screen away look and put the picture in a presentation card and if you want to know the gender you can look if not just keep it somewhere " the doctor says
" thank you " toby says
The doctor looks , gives them the picture and they leave to meet the girls at the mall....
"Well boy or girl " Hanna says excitedly
" we've got the picture here but we haven't looked yet we were still deciding " spencer says
" can we look " aria says
" sure " toby says handing her the picture
The girls look at it and their faces drop
" so boy or girl " spencer says squeezing toby
" you sure you guys don't want to look at it " alison says
" no tell us " spencer says excitedly
" well its a ... girl" Emily says handing her the picture
Toby and spencer look at each other beaming with happiness , toby picks her up and spins her around
" so lets go shopping for our little girl " toby says taking Spencer's hand
" omg omg omg " spencer says walking fastly over to toby
" what've you seen now " toby says laughing at her
" look look look , it's a baby grow that says been inside for 9 months it's so cute " spencer says, she was acting like a kid in a candy shop
" aww I love it " toby says , he leans in and kisses her , spencer puts Toby's hand on her stomach so he can feel the baby kick ,
" for a girl she can really kick " spencer says
The girls are all stood watching them and awwing
" I'm guessing she's gonna be good at hockey like her mommy then " toby says as he bends down and plants a kiss on her bump
Spencer smiles at him and they carry on shopping ....( toby was the only guy there because Caleb was at work and Ezra was promoting his book in Italy)
" wow we got a lot of baby stuff " hanna says
" that baby is going to be spoiled rotten " Emily says
" she sure is she has aunts that have already spoiled her rotten " spencer says
" are you sure you wanted to buy half the stuff girls " toby says
" toby don't be silly of course we did we love our little niece " aria says

" I'm not bothered you guys pick " spencer says
The girls all look at each other and can't make their minds up
" actually I want you girls to go and help spencer pick some outfits for Paris " toby says
" yes sir " hanna says joking
" oh yeah and were are you going " spencer says
" Im going to meet Caleb   " toby says cheekily
" ok bye babe love you" spencer says  kissing him as he walks away smirking
" there definitely up to something " alison says
Spencer smirks and says " hey Ali don't you want to get a few baby things whilst we're here " spencer says
" no I'm going to wait till we find out the gender " alison says
" ok " spencer says still smirking
" you know something , you and toby are Inseparable and you just let him walk off " hanna says
" he's just gone to see Caleb that's all " spencer says
" ok whatever , well lets go pick you some sexy outfits shall we spence " hanna says getting into the car
" seriously hanna you did not just say sexy , nothing is sexy when your nearly 7 months pregnant and can barely see your toes " spencer says
"  that's so not true your the only pregnant woman I know that doesn't look dreadful I mean look at me " Ali says
" Ali you'll always be pretty no mater what you know that " Emily says

The girls go to the boutique and help spencer pick out outfits ....but
" here try on these " hanna says handing her some clothes
" ok for a start i am no longer a size 10 I'm a 14 so the pants are no good " spencer says
" oops forgot " hanna says , she goes and gets a size 14 in the Pants and when she does spencer tells the girls what toby and Caleb are up to
" aww hanna is gonna freak " alison says
Hanna comes back with the pants and sees spencer in the red dress
"I love that dress " hanna says as spencer walks out of the fitting room
" you look a... mazing spence " Emily says
" yeah that dress really shows off your bump your glowing " aria says
" Thanks girls I like this one and the red one that makes my bump look smaller " spencer says laughing" and the two tops but the pants just don't fit so I'm going to stick to dresses "
" and what about shoes " hanna asks
" I was thinking sandals and ballet shoes " spencer says
" oh please try these" aria says handing her a pair of heals
" really hanna , Im blaming you if I fall over" spencer says
" well you can , it's a special few days for you and toby you have to look your best " aria says
" wow there perfect with that dress " Alison says
" and I love these shoes to go with the floral dress "Emily says
" me too " spencer says
They pick her out some nightys and swimwear and head home
To Hanna's
Hanna's house ......
" Caleb are you home ,were are you " hanna shouts
" spencer gets a text off toby that says " hey baby were all set bring her out "
Hanna had gone upstairs to look for Caleb spencer tells the girls it's go time
"Hey Han I can hear something in the back garden " Emily shouts up the stairs
They all walk outside to the fairly lit garden and see Hanna's parents ,Caleb walks over to her and stands in front of her : " Hanna Marin your the love of my life , I couldn't live without you , you make me smile every day and when We argue we allways make up because your my soulmate so , will you do the honour of marrying me "
Hanna nods and jumps into his arms
Everyone clapped and cheered and they spent the night talking about Hanna , spencer and Ali's baby's and just how happy they all were ....
