Part 22 , Elena's 4th birthday and surprise

4 years later ::::
Hanna and Caleb had gotten married and had 2 little girls ( Isabella and Rachel rivers )
So had Ezra and aria but they only had 1 little girl( Amelia Fitz )  .........
It was the day before Elena's 4th birthday , she was going go have a little party and then they were going on vacation with the girls and guys to Paris  (because it was almost Spencer's birthday and Hanna's and arias  too )
Spoby was sat on the couch talking and watching a movie and Elena was at Aria's , she had been there to play with Amelia , spencer really needed to tell toby something ......
" Elena will be home soon " toby says playing with Spencer's hair
" yea she will , can I talk to you about something " spencer says turning to face him , smiling
" of course you can " Toby says
"Well do you remember the other month when we were talking about " toby cuts her off  and says " trying for another baby "
Spencer nods and says " do you still want to " spencer says
" I love being a dad spence if your ready I am" toby says
" I am too"spencer says
" what do you say we go upstairs now " toby says grinning pulling spencer closer and kissing her
Spencer pulls away
" we don't need to " spencer says smiling " because I'm pregnant "
" what " toby says smiling happily
Spencer smiles back and says " I took a test earlier , it was one of those that tells you how far along you are it said 3 months , 2 weeks  and 4 days "
" that's amazing " toby says still smiling
" you know what's weird though , Iv not had morning sickness and I don't know how I didn't notice because Iv already got a little bump " she says lifting her shirt and putting Toby's hand on her stomach
" maybe it's a boy , they always say boys grow faster " toby says smiling kissing her again
As he does Elena comes running in laughing with Amelia chasing her and aria behind them
Spencer quickly pulls away from toby and turns around to face them
" did we interrupt something " aria says giving them a smirk
" nope not at all " spencer says jumping up and picking Elena up
" hi mommy hi daddy " Elena says hugging them
" hi , did you have fun " spencer asks picking her up
She nods and says " can Amelia stay tonight please mommy " she says giving spencer puppy dog eyes
" you'll have to ask aunt aria " spencer says putting her down smiling
Elena jumps into arias arms and says " can Amelia stay please aunt aria pleaseeee  " Elena says as he gives aria puppy dog eyes
" yes of course she can sweetie " aria says smiling
" why don't you girls go upstairs and play " toby says
" ok , come play with us daddy " Elena says pulling his arm
" ok I'm coming " toby says following them upstairs
" so what are you doing with Ezra tonight then" spencer says winking
" oh you know the usual , and something we can't do when Amelia's around " aria says winking back
" ohhhh " spencer sags giving her a cheesy grin
" and you " aria says laughing
" well entertaining those two and packing , have you packed yet " spencer asks
" yea almost I'm so excited " aria says
" I know me to it will be good for us to bond back together I haven't Seen the others in about a week which is not like us " spencer says
" I know me too , I think Hanna's been busy with the girls " aria says
" yea it must be hard looking after twins " spencer says
Aria nods and says " I'll get going spence , I'll see you tomorrow " aria says excitedly
" bye aria " spencer says smiling hugging her
Aria shouts bye to Amelia and leaves , spencer goes upstairs and entertains the girls whilst toby carries on packing their things
A few hours later :::
"Their asleep " spencer says
" oh good" toby says
" oh and tobes I forgot to tell you , I made an appointment but it's tomorrow " spencer says
Toby smiles and says " I'm sure the girls will entertain Elena at the party whilst we nip there"
Spencer nods and  yawns as she climbs into bed with toby and falls asleep ........
The next day :::::::
"Mommy daddy wake up it's my birthday " Elena says pouncing on them and so was Amelia
" morning girls " spencer says hugging them
" can I open my presents Pweeees " she says
" no you little munchkin wait till your party " toby says
She gives them sad eyes
" no " toby says laughing
After a few minuets she gives up and goes into her room with Amelia to play with her toys
" hey Spence when are we going to tell her about the you know what " toby says whispering Into her ear
" I was thinking maybe when we get to Paris , I though we could tell her that she went when I was pregnant with her and then we could tell her that we had one last present and show her the scan pic " spencer says
" you've got it all figured out haven't you " toby says smiling at her
" yep " spencer says laughing before kissing him
" I love you Spence " toby says
" I love you too " she says kissing him back ....
spencer , toby , Elena and Amelia get dressed for the party and go downstairs ready for everyone arriving
The first people to arrive were the girls and guys with the twins and Benjamin then Spencer's parents and Toby's dad , then Melissa , then some of Elenas friends from play group and finally her friends from  preschool ......
after they had cut the cake and sang happy birthday Elena opened her presents and went off playing with her new toys whilst spencer and toby went to the appointment
They told the girls that they had somewhere they needed to go and that they'd tell them later and left ....
At the doctors ::::::
"Mrs cavanaugh " the doctor calls
Spencer and toby walk into the room and spencer lays down on the bed
" well hello spencer it's nice to see you again " the doctor says ( it was the same one that they had with Elena )
" oh hi dr Adams "they say shaking her hand
" so your second huh , what you hoping for girl or boy " she asks
" we really want a boy but as long as it's healthy we're not bothered " toby says
" you want a boy " spencer says laughing
The doctor laughs and says" well not long to wait only a few months till I can tell you the gender "
" I can't wait " spencer says
" well lets have a look shall we " she says as she puts the gel on and searches around
" ahh here we go so that's your baby" she says pointing to the screen
Spencer and toby were both happily gazing over at the screen looking at the baby
" so how many pictures would you like " she asks
" erm 5please " she says ( one for her , one for toby , one for Elena and one for her parents and Toby's dad
The doctor prints the pics off and hands them to spencer
" I'll see you in three months lets hope it's a boy" she says smiling
" oh can i just ask , am i ok to fly , as we're going to Paris in a few hours " spencer says
" yes mrs cavanaugh your perfectly healthy " she says
" ok thank you " Spencer says as smiles and walks out of the room with toby following her
They go back home load their cars and go to the airport and board the plane
When Elena fell asleep spencer explained to the girls why they left and toby explained to the guys and told them when they were telling Elena and that they couldn't wait to see her reaction as she had been begging them for a baby brother or sister  for the last year , half way through the flight spencer was feeling tiny little kicks and told everyone they were all so excited  .......
several hours later they arrive at the hotel and go into their rooms and unpack .....
Spobys room ::::
Spencer sits Elena down on the bed and her and toby sit beside her
" how do you like it so far princess  " toby says
" it's so pretty outside " Elena says
" yea it is , do you know you came here with me and daddy when you were in mommy's tummy" spencer says
" really " Elena says
Spencer and Toby nod and toby says " how would you feel about having a baby brother or sister "
" id love it why daddy " Elena says sweetly
Toby gets up and hands spencer the picture to give to Elena and gets his phone ready to video her reaction
Spencer hands her the picture
"What's this " she says looking puzzled
" it's a picture of your little brother/Sister " spencer says
" what" Elena says starting to cry
Spencer nods
" but where is the baby " she says looking even more confused
" it's in my tummy " spencer says smiling at her As she shows Elena her little bump
" your going to be a big sister " toby says
After he said that she was hysterically crying of happiness
" best birthday ever " she screams
Later on they go and have dinner out and show the girls the video of elenas reaction and then go back to their rooms and go to sleep ....
