Part 24: Welcome To California

Setting: Myricle's house

Myricle's POV

- 4 days later -

"I can't believe my oldest is leaving me." my mom cried out while laying on my bed.

"Mom I'm not leaving forever." I said.

"I know but it seemed like yesterday when you broke your ankle from jumping on the trampoline." she said.

I remember that day clearly.

"I remember when you were crying because you thought I was gonna die." I said laughing.

She started laughing to. "I was scared." she said.

"I'm done with the last bag." I said setting down my pink and black suitcase.

Lia then ran into the room and sat down on my bed.

"Will you call us?" she asked.

"Yes I will call y'all everyday." I said.

She then got up and hugged me. Actually she was hugging my knees.

"I'm gonna miss you." she said.

"I'm gonna miss you more Liabear." I said.

My mom then got up and started hugging us.

"I want you to be safe out in California." she said.

"I will. Diggy will be watching me." I said.

She nodded.

"Can you help me get my suitcases in the trunk." I said.

"Yes I will." she said.

I only had 3 suitcases so it only took one trip to put the bags in the trunk.

When I got done putting my suitcases in my mom's car I went over to Diggy's house.

I knocked on the door and Miley answered.

"Aww have you been crying?" I asked picking her up.

she nodded her head.

"Miley who was at the door?" Diggy asked coming into the living room where we were sitting.

"Hey Myricle." she said coming over to me and giving me a kiss.

"Why was Miley crying?" I asked.

"Because she doesn't want me to leave." he said.

"Well Miley we will visit you sometimes." I said.

"Ok." she said getting out of my hands.

"Our flight takes off in a hour. Are you ready to go?" I asked Diggy.

"Yeah let me just tell my mom it's time to go"  he said.

After he told his mom it was time to go his family and my family all got into 2 trucks and drove to the airport

It was a 45 minute long drive. When we got there we went through security and all the other stuff to get to the main area.

"I'm gonna miss you so much." my mom said crying into my hair.

"I'm gonna miss you more mom." I said hugging her.

I then bend down to hug Lia.

"Bye Liabear." I said.

"Bye Myriclewhip." she said making me laugh.

She hated when I called her Liabear so she called me a name back.

"Be good for mommy ok?" I said.

"Ok." she said.

"Promise?" I said holding out my pinky finger.

"Promise." she said wrapping her tiny finger around mines.

I then went over to Diggy's family and hugged Russy , JoJo , Vanessa , Angela , and his parents.

They were like a second family to me.

After a few minutes we heard someone over the intercom say it was time to board the plane.

I can't believe this is gonna be the last time I'll see my family in 4 years.

We grabbed our bags and headed to the door that led to the plane.

I turned around and waved and blew kisses to them.

They all pretended to catch them. It was cute.

Diggy just waved at them.

We continued to walk into the plane.

I love Diggy and He loves me. I hope it stays this way forever.
