~Time Skip~

It was 6:20, and I was getting ready to leave to meet up with Kenny.  I put on my nice jeans and threw on boots and a coat.

"Bye Dad, I'll be back later!" I shouted through the house.

"What about supper?" he shouted back.

"Not hungry," I shrugged.

That was a lie, I was starving, but I could wait to eat if it meant I got to see Kenny.

"Where are you going?" dad asked.

"Stark's Pond, to see a friend," I replied.

"Really? Just a friend?" he teased.

I rolled my eyes, "I'm leaving now."

I walked out the door and ventured to Stark's Pond.  It was only about a seven minute walk from my house. I got there, and Kenny was already waiting for me on a bench.  I approached him, and he quickly stood to greet me.

"Hey, y-you're early," he stuttered.

I blushed at his unexpected bashfulness, "I felt like being late would be rude."

He grinned at me, "Funny, you didn't strike me as a girl with manners."

I rolled my eyes, "Like you have room to speak."

"I can't help it.  I'm poor," he let out a laugh.

"Just because you are poor doesn't mean you can't have class," I laughed.

"Obviously, I mean your family has money, yet you lack class," he stated with a grin.

I gave him a playful glare and punched his arm.

"God, you punch like such a girl," he mocked.

"Well, I hope so. Last I checked I was one," I responded.

"Could've fooled me," he chuckled.

I frowned, "Too far."

I stood up to leave.

"Where are you going?" he asked.

"Anywhere away from your dick face," I spat.

"Oh , no you're not," he smirked.

Next thing I knew, I was tackled to the ground with the teenage male hovering over me.

"Got ya," he winked.

"So what are you going to do with me?" I smirked.

He leaned down and softly kissed me, which caught me off guard.  I expected something more rough, but it was gentle and sweet.

He pulled away, "Look, I really like you."

I felt my face heat up.

He chuckled and got off of me, "I'll see you later."

"Wah? You're leaving already?" I asked.

"I have stuff to do," he waved off.

He started to walk across the street when a bus drove by and hit him.

"See you tomorrow," I smiled to myself.
