“Well being in here is suppose to make you happy again.”

“Again?” I question.

“Yes, before you were in here.”

“What if I was never happy?”

“You’ve never been happy?”

“No.”

“That can’t be true.”

“It is.”

“I don’t believe you, even when you were a child you were never happy?” She continues.

I don’t get a chance to answer.

“Not everyone comes from a happy family, Doctor R.” Luke speaks for me.

He stood up for me?

“I know, but most do. She mumbles.

“Most, not all.” Luke continues.

“Anyways, we will pick this up again tomorrow. “ She changes the subject.

People begin to clear out, but I stay seated, this room is a lot better than my own.

“Sometimes Doctor Reagan can be a bit rude.” Luke Interrupts my thoughts.

“She doesn’t get to me, don’t worry”

I’ve heard a lot worse. I add silently.

“Let me walk you back to your room.”

“Can’t I just stay here?”

“No, you can’t.” He laughs.

I don’t want to go back to my room, you can’t do anything in there, you have a window and a bed.

You can only sleep. Which is the only normal place here.
