Heres to the football players:)

"We wear pads and helmets because football is very dangerous and you can get hurt!"

No...you wear pads and helmets because you're scared to get hurt.

Equestrians only have a plastic helmet on their heads. We fall off 16hh horses, crash into metal fences, land on hard dirt, we get stepped on by a 1,200 pound animal, we get bitten, kicked, we brake our bones, become paralyzed and some even die.

There were more equestrian deaths than football deaths last year.

Football:
Tackled by a 200 pound kid

Equestrianism:
Stepped on by a 1,200 pound animal

Football:
Falls on grass

Equestrianism:
Falls on hard, cold dirt

Football:
Only in the fall

Equestrianism:
All year round

Football:
Not in the Olympics

Equestrianism:
Has three events in the Olympics

Football is hard, so isn't any sport.

But I'm tired of these football players (or any one in general) telling me that horse riding isn't a sport!

Think again and do your research! Horse riding is one of the top most dangerous sports ever!
