"Light it up!" Flag yelled.

Athena slammed the heels of her hands onto the sides of her head, causing the Eye to expel the pain and give her control again. She stood up, glancing at the tattoos on her arms. They were glowing, which made a smile tug at the corners of her mouth.

"It's hammer time!" Athena yelled.

That's when her giant black panther mode came into action.

She folded back her ears, bared her fangs, and hissed at the monsters coming towards her, then grabbed them in her jaws, crushing them to bits

She folded back her ears, bared her fangs, and hissed at the monsters coming towards her, then grabbed them in her jaws, crushing them to bits.

"Son of a bitch! Get off me!" Athena heard Flag yell in the distance.

"They're after Flag again!" Floyd yelled. "Crossbones, we need some of that panther action!"

Athena nodded and sped towards them, then slid to a stop in front of Flag.

"Circle up!" Floyd commanded. "Circle around him!"

"Let me fight!" Flag protested.

"You die, we die!" Athena snapped, surprising everyone with the sudden British accent.

"Crossbones, are you British?! " Digger asked.

She snarled at an approaching monster, then said, "It comes with the panther! I can't--" She paused to slash at one carrying a sword "--do anything about it! So shut up!"

That's when Edwards' annoying yelling hit her sensitive ears. She perked up slightly, pinpointing his location, then darted towards him without a word. Not even slowing down, she rammed into the creatures surrounding Edwards and sent them flying like bowling pins. Then she slid to a stop, crouched down in front of him and growled, "Get on!"

Edwards frowned. "But how--"

"DO YOU WANT TO BE LEFT HERE?!" Athena snapped. "CAUSE I CAN DEFINITELY DO THAT FOR YOU!!"

Edwards nodded and climbed onto her broad back. "Why the hell are you suddenly British?!"

"Why the shite are you so annoying?" she muttered to herself, then said to Edwards, "Hold on, and don't let go! It's gonna get fast and dangerous!"

She spun around and shot towards the glass windows that bordered them. She didn't stop or hesitate before crashing headfirst into the glass, causing it to shatter and fly out in all directions. When her feet hit the walkway, she sprung off of it and across the huge square gap between the building. Then she threw her weight sideways, flinging Edwards from her back, and landed hard on the opposite walkway.

The impact hurt more than it should have, and it caused her to change back, her head swimming as she laid there on her stomach. She glanced at Edwards, who was on his back, wincing from being thrown.
