Athena groggily opened her eyes and immediately tasted the blood in her mouth. Worried, she pushed herself to her elbows and looked around at the broken buildings and burning houses.
Then she looked at the girl who knelt beside her who worea look of concern and worry.

"Milana?" Athena asked. "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, but you're hurt," Milana said.
"Fuck, you're right," Athena muttered, pokingat the dark red stain that was blossoming on her shirt. Athena put her arms around her shoulders and let Milana help her walk. "Is Skye okay?"
"She's back at the house," Milana explained. "She got all stiff and kept nagging us about how 'Just cause we're like female Robin Hoods doesn't mean we rob a bank' and 'I told you that the police would shoot at you' and all that crap."
"She worries too much," Athena commented. "We do this all the time."
"That's just how she operates," Milana said. "We can't do anything about it."
They ventured deep into a thick forest and climbed a large treehouse hidden in the trees. Another girl was there, but she didn't look "normal".

"You got hurt again?" she asked knowingly.
"Yeah," Athena said to her. "Milana's gonna fix it, though."
She turned to Milana, who suddenly didn't look "normal" either.

"You're lucky she's a Regenerate, Athena," the girl said. "Or else you--"
"Would be dead," Milana finished in annoyance. "Dear god, Skye, stop acting like a mom and actually be our sister for once."
"She is our sister, though, no matter what she has up her ass," Athena teased.
"Athena!" Skye scolded. "Not nice!"
"Love you too, Zodiak," Athena replied. "To Tauros and back."
